Works well, But is NOT reversible like the Magnetic Charger – Magsafe Magnetic Adapter. Which I recently ordered and will see how it performs in general when it arrives.I suppose you could remove the iZHIHUM magnetic USB-C adapter, flip it over, and reinsert it each time you want to rotate which way the 90 deg bend goes, but its not that easy to pull the adapter out, and that somewhat defeats part of the benefits for me. It works (I use for a Dell XPS) but I wanted to use it instead of a standard connection when a standard connection might cause damage. These fall off pretty easy. For me, they are not very well suited for using on a laptop unless the laptop is sitting on a desk, in which case a standard connection would be fine for my purposes.

I mistakenly thought that I'd be able to insert a multi-port usb-c adapter inline with the adapter. This adapter does pass through the power and data when directly connected via the usb-c port on the laptop.But when I insert the magnetic USB C adapter at the laptop usb-c port, the laptop senses that there is something amiss with this USB connection and refuses to pass any data. It says the USB connection is unrecognized and not supported..When used inline with the usb-c power cable alone it works splendidly for charging only. And I suppose that is really all it is intended to do. I was just hopeful that it could pass data and charge at the same time. And really, I don't know if this is a limitation of this adapter or simply the combination of trying to charge and use data on the same usb-c port that is the real problem.

Build quality seems fairly solid and it will charge but the title is incredibly misleading; it it's labelled as offering "max fasting charger" for any usb-c device but with the Samsung Galaxy s8 it is painfully slow. 75% to100% with the magnetic attachment took roughly 2 hours which is longer than it takes to charge from 5% to 100% using the regular cable. I cannot testify to whether or not this works better with Apple products (I find it difficult to believe it offers fast charging for a MacBook when it can't handle a Samsung phone) but if you are using a Samsung product (or Nintendo switch for that matter, gave that a try and it didn't seem to work at all) I would steer clear of this product.

I was hoping to find a USB-C converter to turn my cord into a MagSafe-type connection. I was excited to find this one. The magnet is not that strong and if you move it even a little the cord swivels on the magnet and it stops charging. It's not at all as strong or as reliable as the magsafe.I would not recommend this at all.

Just terrible, I bought it because suposedly it was able to charge any type c device, the seller even answers a question especifically saying that is compatible with the Hp Sprectre X360, well it is not, the charging indicator doesnt even turn on, and the laptop doent charge or even recieve any power at all. The only thing this manages to charge is my galaxy s8. The worst thing is that I left the country so im not even able to return them. Im stuck with a product that doesnt work as advertised.

The magnets are weak. You must constantly confirm that it is connected and charging

I was hoping this adapter would be equivalent to the way the MagSafe cords worked on previous MacBook Pros, but the magnet is very weak. It unfortunately disconnects with the slightest movement of the power cord.I returned it. Very disappointed.
