Drains battery
Odd that I can't review this item as a verified purchaser because I did purchase here, when I purchased this item there were 900+ reviews, now there are 9 and I make 10.We're in northern IL and it is December. We tested our RV cab battery with a multi-meter before plugging the trickle charger into our cig lighter. It measured 14.89. Two very sunny days went by and the battery measured 13.21. The next day was on and off sun and it registered 12.20. I think the problem lies with the solar panel having lights lit even when it is dark. I contacted the seller with this concern and they said it draws minimum power from the battery when there is no solar. Obviously, it uses power from the battery and here in the midwest we can go weeks without sun this time of year. This trickle charger won't work. Glad the return was easy.

Working well for me.
I have been using this product for a number of months now. I have a drain on my car battery that is not cost-effective to repair. This charger has offset that drain, even in single-digit temperatures.

You don't know if it's working or not.
The media could not be loaded. I'll have to return this product. The description says that the red light should blink if it is trickle charging. The alligator clips are connected to the battery and the panel is in the sun, but there is no blinking red light to indicate whether the panel is charging or not.

Nice charger but no controller
Very nice solar charger, however with out a controller you can't leave it attached without risk of damage to battery.I like that it has a USB charger too.

Poor designing
Solar panel holder at the back (stand) came off and now there is no way I can keep it standing in front dash board.Suction cups can only be used if you’re keeping the panel outside.Hoping the seller can replace it.:(
