Adam Truro Fireplace Suite in Cream with Blenheim Electric Fire in Brass, 41 inch

I ordered this FOUR days ago and I'm now sat, surprised by its style and beauty. Okay, okay, I know it's only a fireplace, but it is stunning. I shopped around before I bought - a local outlet wanted £831 for something very similar!! Who would know MDF could be so expensive???? This little beauty has made such a difference to our living room; it is sleek and stylish and worth every single penny paid. Delivery was quick and efficient too.To those of you worried about 'noise' - there is the usual 'hum' when the fan heater is turned on; something to be expected with a fan heater I'd have thought so I do wonder why those who made a comment about it did so??All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone attracted by its style. It is a stunner!!SO GOOD I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE!!We have a through room so, with decorating done and new carpets down, what else would I need but another one??I just cannot fault this for style, quality and good looks. This is an excellent buy and we are very pleased with it. The first one sent was damaged on the mantelpiece, but we re ordered and the replacement came quickly and Amazon have arranged to pick up the damaged one next week. The damage was probably caused in transit, the delivery methods on pallets of all these items at the carriers sometimes leaves a lot to be desired!! The fire has plastic bits on it but unless you tap it no one would know and the price is so good that who cares!! As long as it works ok, and looks good ,which it does, we are well pleased. So easy to just stand in place, plug in and you are sorted. A couple of our friends have seen it and are so impressed they want one. It is lovely to just have the glow of the coals on in the evening. when you have central heating that's all you need. We have tried the actual fire and it does throw out quite a lot of heat so if needed we will use in future. Many thanks.

A very neat fireplace, with clean lines and an unfussy design. I can't comment on the heat output as yet (middle of "summer"), but a short trial run suggests it will be adequate for purpose. The fan is not noisy enough to be obtrusive and the only minus point (and the reason for 4 stars) is the less than convincing "flame effect". Still to be highly recommended.

Loved the fireplace but was extremely disappointed with the delivery. I am a 71 years old woman with a baqck problem and was asked by the driver to help him carry it it to my house. I told him I had a back problem but this information was ignored. It clearly stated on the box that it was a two man lift. Very disappointed and had to spend the next two days in bed.

Gives out good warmth and looks good. Easy to clean. The only downside is when switched on, there is a constant noise, but this is only to be expected. When the TV is on, I forget about the noise. Thought I'd give it a good test throughout the year before I gave a review. Recommend.

The fire was delivered on time and was in perfect condition. We just open the box and plugged in and can only say it is prefect looks far more expensive then the price and looks wonderful and our family are amazed at how good it looks have no complaints about it at all

Lovely when pur in place. Very quiet fan whitch was a fault in our previous fire.

Looks very stylish and very easy to fit. It is a bit noisy when full on but well worth it.
