Cobi provides high-quality historical scale builds of military ships, tanks and planes that Lego doesn't offer. These models have surprisingly good detail and appearance, with convincing rounded contours. To achieve this, Cobi relies on a lot of unique pieces that aren't found with Lego. The models are well-designed with many clever features that make for an interesting and occasionally challenging building experience. The Bismarck model is impressive and accurate, and the 1:300 scale is ideal for large ships; it is an easier but still enjoyable alternative to building a Tamiya plastic model. There were no missing pieces in my set, and there were actually extra pieces that didn't seem to belong to the set, which is puzzling. The instructions are clear and well-drawn, but be aware that a lot of the pieces are very similar in appearance and are easy to confuse, so at the front of the booklet there are detailed close-up comparisons of these pieces that are worth reviewing. The pieces fit even more tightly together than Lego pieces, such that putting smaller pieces together or correcting errors can be difficult. Finally, Cobi sets are a very good value, especially as Lego sets have become increasingly expensive. Highly recommended.

very good assembly instructions great details

My son is a huge Lego builder and loves ships. He was extremely impressed on its appearance, ease of assembly and the quality of it. It was a little expensive but if it lasts, then to me it is worth it.

There was one missing part which I replaced with one of mine and a few parts that were included that didn't belong to the set, one book was damaged on the back few pages(probably during transit) but still readable. Some parts fit way too snug I had to use pliers to force the pieces in the holes they go in. Overall took about 6-7 hours to do and it is a great set to get, worth the price. High quality, lots of detail and is a really good center piece.

So my son wanted this for his birthday . Agh !!! let me tell you 3 of us had to switch on and off building because the little pieces hurt our fingers . Never again will stick to LEGO
