For the price, you aren't going to find anything better.
I'm very flat footed. Just walking four blocks to work in dress shoes make my feet ache. I also work at least one shift a week at a brewery for 7-8 hours where I am on my feet the entire time. I ran track in college and used to work at a running store specifically in footwear, so I am very familiar with similar products that usually come at a high price tag. After significant heel and foot pain, I needed to make a change and bought a pair of Dr. Scholl's inserts hoping to get ANY relief. I didn't. Instead, I immediately had to return them - they hurt my feet and felt terrible. I turned to Amazon and went ahead with these given the reviews. For only $20, these have really done the trick. I've worn them in a variety of shoes so far - Chuck Taylors, slip on (no support) dress shoes, Timberland boots, and Nike running shoes - and these inserts have made a huge difference. If you are wearing a shoe with no support, these help quite a bit - very limited foot pain. If you wear a shoe with some support, it's incredible - no pain. For the price, I'm likely buying another pair. For day-to-day wear, I'm very impressed.

A lot of support -- too much for me
These insoles have a lot of support. That might be great for many people, but for me it is too much. It always feels like something is poking into the bottom of my foot. The arch support is both more pronounced and more rigid than I need. The padding is pretty good across the entire surface. The thickness of the insoles may be an issue for some shoes. With the shoes I put them in, ideally they'd now need to be a half size larger.Note that the product description mentions that these are made with cork. Don't let that fool you into thinking it's like a thin layer of cork that would be quite flexible. This is not cork as you normally see it, but rather it is laminated or mixed with some kind of binder and is MUCH stronger than regular cork -- it might as well be plastic.I was able to make these work for me by using a utility knife to shave down the underside at the arch support, which probably both made it sit a little lower, and more importantly, made it more flexible by thinning out the material there. With a little more adjustment, I think I can get them to work pretty well, but I can't really give a high rating to something that I need to modify in such a manner.

Best arch supports yet!
I have long, high arches, and plantar fasciitis now that they are starting to collapse with age. I have used medical orthodics for $150 (they are rather hard; I've bought 3 kinds of $50 to $60 over the counter cushioned orthodics, each one higher than the last. But nothing has worked for me as well as these $20 high arch supports. The arches are sufficiently high and well-cushioned, plus there is a wonderful, resilient cushion under the bottom of the heel that relieves my heel pain. My feet are wide, and these supports still fit comfortably in my shoes. One by one I am putting these arch supports in EACH pair of shoes that I own!

Magical
I was struggling with footbpain along the outer part of my foot, like walking with a mable in my shoe. I had an appt. with a podiatrist seeking help. Meanwhile I was trying different things including these insoles. Within a couple days of using them my foot pain vanished! I just ordered two more pair. I cancelled my appointment and am a very happy camper. Btw I have very high arches and walk 3-4 miles a day. UPDATE 4 months later the spot on the outer part of my mid foot has begun to hurt again. I had purchased two pair of the insoles and see that they suggest replacing them every 6 months. It's been 4 months but I happily tossed the current pair and put in the new pair. Just be aware they are not a forever fix.

Very high arches at first
It takes time to get used to these. The arch is very high and hard. I took out the insoles that came with my shoes and added these. I didn't do it a little at a time like they suggest, so it rubbed a place on both my arches. Took them back out for a few days and then tried again. Feel fine now, but make a squeaking noise when I walk. Over all I am satisfied with them now that I am adjusted to them. Just wish they didn't make noise now.

really uncomfortable the first couple times i wore them now i love it. I was competitively snowboarding years ago and destroyed my ankles. My arches are completely ruined and i have significant pain when ni am standing for a long period of time. I am now a medical student and stand all day [legit sometimes 15 hour days on my feet without sitting down] . I didn't think anything could make my feet feel better but these do! i feel like a normal person now. But again --- the first few days you wear them they hurt. there is a lot of pressure on the ball of the foot. give it time.

Calling this an "Orthotic" is a stretch. I would call this an insert.
There are many of these extruded foam insoles being sold here under many brands. We have tried them all and these were the least impressive,in a line of products that all disappoint, still better than what comes with most shoes. These are weirdly shaped.I might use them in house slippers.I am not saying "Don't buy these"....just there is better stuff at higher prices. But, read my other reviews....I don't take chances with my feet as I am climbing ortraining every day.

Whoa!!
I've had serious knee issues since I was about 16-torn ligaments, meniscuse, you name it- from basically a lifetime of ballet and sports. Also, living in Florida, I've consistently worn those cheap flip flops causing serious flatfootedness and all that comes with that. So flat feet leads to more knee pain and also knocks the whole alignment of the body totally out of whack. The second I put these in my shoes they immediately pushed my arches up properly, aligning my body perfectly, and straightened my posture. I couldn't stand poorly with these in, I tried! I'm excited to see how much these are actually going to help with all of my problems!! I've already recommended these to pretty much everyone I know.
