Q: what are the dimensions Width and length need to know if the bottom is at least 15 inches long (left to right)

The description says the dimensions are much larger: Product DetailsProduct Dimensions: 11.6 x 20 x 10.6 inches ; 6.1 poundsWhere is the difference coming from?

Q: Can I store different size loose, nuts, bolts, screws in the trays and them stay in place when closing box or will they fly everywhere?

Well, the top trays contents would fall out of their slots if this gets banged around pretty hard but the other trays are "mostly closed when the upper trays fold atop them. Once you open the bi-fold lids the trays unfold manually. This is a pretty big box so a ton of bolts & screws etc is going to make this very heavy. It's plastic, a good quality but not built for extreme weight if overloaded

Q: how large are the compartments of the large tray? (how many 4-5 inch baits can be stored in the trays, and not in base)

Top tray: 2 corner ones are 3.5d or 4" corner to corner, w/15" narrow tray across. 2nd tray has 2 ~ 5.75 deep trays, 3rd has 1 long 15.75" skinny tray across front. On the other side there are 4 ~ 7" trays

Q: Could anyone kindly advise on where I can find parts for this tackle box? My kids broke the locking latches. Thanks

Go to Flambeau Outdoor's web site and look for the "contact us" link. If it lists a phone number, call them and ask for customer service. Tell them your plight and they'll probably send you replacement parts gratis or replace the entire unit. If Flambeau is a washout, call Amazon customer service.

I bought this to hold my hobby kit. There is ample space and dividers to separate the bits and pieces. If you must go fishing, you would likely find this one of the better boxes available to you.
