I used the gloss version to protect a wallpapered table top. It worked perfectly with a great finish. I will say that the finish is not hard and shiny like varnished wooden furniture, it remains almost slightly tacky. It's hard to describe but I like it.

...it's the best gloss varnish like few people wrote here. It' thick but may be due to the fact I bought it in winter when it's cold. Usually it's not a good idea to buy suck items during a cold season. Used only once, will try again.. other Matt and satin varnishers of the same company are perfect though for my purposes. Delivery was very quick.

We brought this to gloss over matt tiles in the utility room, lovely shine and so easy to apply. A little goes a long way too.

This product is amazing. I used it to cover wallpaper in my kitchen. I put 3 layers on and it's now watertight, has a lovely sheen and I am able to wipe it clean. Will be using in the future again

I used this to seal and protect some decoupaged coasters. It was easy to apply although I found it hard to minimise brush strokes. May have been the brush I was using though!

I’m going with 4* overall, just because of a couple of points. Firstly, it’s like milky water (really runny) but don’t worry, it dries clear. Secondly, I gave my unit top one coat only (I think maybe this was my fault for not applying another coat) , but within 2 days, it had already chipped…. I will try again with this, but definitely out on at least 2 coats.

Easy to work with. High quality. Outstanding results on any furniture I have used it on. It makes my work look better than my skill set. Highly recommend!

Easy to use. Works great for decoupage.

I was worried about how non-vinyl, water-resistant wallpaper would hold up when installed above my tiled shower/tub area. I applied three coats of dead flat (I could not find satin, my preferred choice.) It rolled on beautifully with a foam roller. It’s slightly darker and a tad flatter than the untreated paper but the difference isn’t at all noticeable. I’m pleased with the results. It’s an expensive product but you get you money’s worth.

I have used ModPodge, Triple Thick, etc. this Polyvine is the only one I’ve used that does not produce air bubbles. I won’t use anything else now. Dead flat is great, and so is this gloss.

I built rain barrels watching the internet except I decorated with wall paper...I put this product on the wall paper to preserve the decorations...water proof it as such...I also used flex shield as a back up. Now I got beautifully designed rain barrels.
