I have curtains over a door in my house with registers on either side of it. The curtains tend to go over the registers and take the heat or air to the door rather than letting it in the room. My husband will put bags or pillows on the curtain to stop this. I hated it!!!! Now I put these on the side of the door frame. Magnet on! And bam! Curtain not over register no more!!!! It looks clean and wonderful! So happy!!!! Very easy to put on as well!

I tried these in lieu of buying the more expensive Otto magnet system. I got what I paid for! They wouldn’t hold the inside blackout curtain. It’s possible these would work with a much thinner blackout fabric, so I still gave it 3 stars. I will say these hurt A LOT when they fall off the fabric on to your toes because they are heavy, so be careful!

These work just like they’re supposed to, come with double sticky backs, metal disks and strong magnets on the back of the stars. The stars are a heavy ceramic, much nicer than expected. All comes in a lovely package and would make an excellent dorm room gift or baby shower gift. Can be used to hold curtains closed or to hold them back out of the way. Great little product and I’ve bookmarked it for future showers!

We don't have the pull down blinds that this product was created for, but wanted help darkening the bedroom when necessary without using full blackouts or window tint, and this works perfectly. I have a condition that makes me light sensitive and sometimes I need to sleep during daytime hours, and sometimes the sliver of light under the edge of the curtains and standard blinds is too much. The adhesive and magnets in this set are super easy to install and we then have the stars holding the curtain flush against the wall. Since there are six in the set, we were able to do the edge of each window near the head of the bed and it has made such a huge difference. I hope that the retailer adds to the description that these can be used in this fashion, since the Blackout Blinds Star Magnets are much more versatile than they seem at first. The best part is that it's a breeze to pull the star magnets off and open the curtain whenever we want and there is no wear and tear, weakening of adhesives, etc. We are absolutely thrilled with the product, especially since it's so easy to use in alternative ways.

These really surprised me.. I needed something for my sons room that gets soo much sunlight so he can nap and he likes to sleep with a fan on so the fan blows his curtains and with these he can nap without sunlight popping threw his eyes... Just look at the b4 and after,sells itself.. Uses a metal circle plate that sticks to the wall and the stars are heavy and have a magnet to them..easy peasy..also comes with a velvet black bag for traveling.... I just wonder how you would use these over and over if traveling when the metal circle sticks as a one time thing,it's not like it has a reusable backing to them.. So I would say these are great if you are not traveling because of that one problem...

Really cool way to implement a good solution to an annoying problem.I don't know if I ever would have found these if they weren't star shaped, cos that, plus 'magnets' is what drew me to them (and probably what made Amazon usher them toward me). I love magnetic stuff and I love stars. I also really love the dark. So star shaped magnets that enforce darkness? Yes please! 😂These do what it says on the tin; they help block the light that seeps out from the edges of blackout curtains that don't fall flush against the wall by magnet-ing the curtain flat to the wall.What I really need is a way to make these work how they work, but more temporary, like for use in motel rooms, where this is a widely-experienced problem.

I recently purchased blackout curtains. They work really well, but light was getting through on the sides and in the middle (between the two curtains). These little magnets fixed my problem!!This magnet set was extremely easy to install. Just peel and stick the backs to the appropriate places on your wall. Before bed, put the star magnets over your curtains and - voila!! Significantly reduced light levels! I even use them to fasten the curtains together in the middle (which didn't require me to stick the backing down anywhere). I find the star shapes to be a nice little touch. They're really cute and have some weight to them. They feel well-made.If you currently have blackout curtains and they're not quite enough, I highly recommend you consider this product!

These are some really HEFTY magnets! Probably a little too heavy for children that are going to be using these themselves, but they'll definitely hold back some thick curtains.Only complaint is that the stars are a little rough in spots- like, dented and missing some of the paint/coating that's on them.
