Create plenty of space & time for assembly
When assembling recruit a second person for helping out with holding & supporting some of the major bits.I would also recommend insulation taping together the electrical connectors after connection to stop them coming apart over time & use.Total assembly is quite straightforward using the supplied instructions & if you have done this type of thing before, taking about 30-40 minutes per chair to comfortably complete.Review update:- warning, this product seems to suffer a major problem with the main seat operation motor & is prone to sudden failure, which results in the chair not rising/ reclining with a constant bussing when the remote is operated.Mine failed in less than a week, with getting the supplier to replace it leaving me with a nightmare, I purchased 3 of these & have now asked them to remove them all due to the inferior quality of this item & arrange for a full refund.Being disabled this product has turned out for me as not fit for purpose & I will stand my ground on this with trading standards, breach of contract law, with help from my bank’s credit card & possibly a solicitor, watch this space (unless sensored).

A good looking and very comfy chair.
I'll start by saying that it comes in 2 boxes. One is fairly light weight containing just the back, the other is VERY heavy and contains the bottom. The box says it's 51KG. Unfortunately the box that the bottom comes in is too large to fit through a standard UPVC door way and must be unpacked outside. The bottom will then JUST fit through the doorway. I had to carry the bottom inside on my own and it was a struggle. I'm an able 35 year old man. The driver needed help to carry it from his lorry to the door. It might be worth asking the driver if he'll give you a hand, once the box is open the bottom only has some bubblewrap on so it's very quick to unpack.Pretty straight forward to put together which is lucky as the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Before attaching the back be sure to tip the bottom up and remove the cardboard box with the heat/massage remote and power supplies inside. With the bottom still tipped up connect the power, you won't be able to do it any other way. Tip the bottom right way up and the back slides down into the bottom until a click is heard and then you can connect the wires at the back. There are no bolts or nuts to do up.The chair comes with 2, UK plugs. One for power to the motor for rising and reclining and one for the heat and massage part. From what I can tell the heat is only in the lumbar area. It takes a little while to heat up but soon gets toasty. The massage portion is done by vibration, personally I'm not a fan finding it a very weird sensation but it covers back, lumbar, thighs and legs with a variety of settings including low and high power. The massage has 3 timed options 15 mins, 30 mins and 60 mins. The heat does not have a timed setting. The buttons on the rise/recline mote are large enough to hopefully be suitable for any age or ability. The buttons on the massage remote are a little more fiddly if you have limited finger dexterity. The upholstery is very comfortable with lots of padding where it's needed most. The single motor offers a good range of reclining positions without going flat. The rise function easily gets you to a standing position. The head rest part of the chair has the ability to extend upwards, however it seems very flimsy once you do so.The chair itself feels very solid and stable on the floor. The rear, bottom of the chair has 2 casters which can be removed with a spanner, they make it possible to easily move the chair around on a hard surface. I can't say what they'd be like on a carpeted one.The plastic cup holders pull out leaving a bigger storage area that is completely enclosed in leather so it can be used instead of the cup holders or things hidden inside and the cup holders replaced on top. This also means that the cup holders can be removed for cleaning. The ONLY niggle I have is that the right arm rest on my chair either has less stuffing than the left or it's simply been compressed due to how it was stored. As it's not removable and the whole chair would need returning to exchange I am just going to live with it. With the bottom being so heavy and the box not fitting through the doorway, exchanging it would be difficult.Overall I'm very happy. It looks great and it's very comfortable. We'll be buying another shortly.Update: 22/01/16We bought a 2nd chair and my niggle over the right hand arm rest having less stuffing than the left is repeated with the 2nd chair.

Comfort at a great price
A comfortable riser recliner chair that fits in well with other furniture in our room and does not dominate its surroundings. Love the heat in the seat as it soothes my back. Well pteased with my purchase.

Not very good
The electrics are very good. The recliner is covered with a type of plastic that is peeling off in tiny little pieces like dust and in.other places big chunks of plastic peel off. I have a much older chair with similar plastic but nothing has changed since we bought it. You can't blame wear and tear as I bought it for my husband and after a year he deceased. Hasn't been used much to have tge plastic disintegrated..

All the family want one
After checking prices online i came back to amazon as thats where i buy most of my stuff from and was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what i was looking for at a fair price. After reading some very helpful reviews i chose this chair and hoped for the best. The chair arrived super fast and was very easy to set up and i was soon sitting back on a leather chair that looks much more expensive than the cost. I bought this chair mainly for the rise and stand feature as i have difficulty getting up from a seated position, which works brilliantly and does exactly what it says on the tin. The other features of this seat are an absolute bonus, the heat alongside the massage whilst lying back is a certainty for a wee snooze. Now ive not long had the chair so only time will tell but for now its pretty great !!!****Several months later and im still loving it, no faults and doing what id hoped for********* Nearly october now and the chairs still going strong ande im still lovin it********* Well thats a year now, this chair has had heavy usage ..used at least 8 hours every day by a 19st plus, the heat feature has been fantastic in the cold weather, and everything is still working as it should, still very happy with it ( feb 2017 )**** Thats nearly 3 and a half years now, chair still working fine tho i feel its slower going up and down. Minimum 8 hours a day everyday with 19 st sitting on it has caused a sag on the seat and foot rest which makes it just not as comfortable...nothing that a bit of cushion on the seat doesn't fix. Still love the heat and massage on it, and id recommend this chair to anyone.
