Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rolls, Breakfast Cereal, 10.7 OZ Box

Here is one cereal I did not have while growing up, but thought I’d give it a try. I still have the occasional sweet tooth and so this cereal would satisfy me with its sweetness. i will admit that it is quite high in sugar and so if you do not want your children higher then life and super hyper, then I’d definitely be certain to watch how much they consume. The flavor is really good and so with everything that tastes good, we are naturally going to want more and more. I like to eat cereal dry every once an a while and so may snack on it if I have a small hunger pang. It’s been a while since I’ve purchased this product, but that is only because I am trying to limit my own sugar intake. When it comes to cereal, if you look at the nutritional facts, cereals that are higher in sugar are a bit lower in sodium. If it’s a cereal low in sugar, then it’s more likely to have a higher sodium content. Why is this? I can only come to one conclusion and that is taste. If lower in sugar, the higher sodium content will bring out the flavor of the cereal. With lower sodium the higher sugar content is what makes the cereal taste good. We use both sugar and salt as flavor enhancers with food we make at home and so my guess is that the cereal companies will do the same thing in order to make the cereal taste good instead of being really bland with both low sugar and sodium contents. All in all this is a nice cereal with a good flavor and is nice to eat every once an a while. For those diabetics, avoid at all costs! Enjoy!

The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rolls are such a fun and creative twist on the classic cereal! They’ve got that same amazing cinnamon-sugar flavor but in a cute rolled-up shape that makes every bite extra tasty. Definitely a win for cinnamon lovers!

Is there a reason why these unavailable anymore? I buy a box a day best cereal ever please don’t tell me you’re discontinuing cause that is the worst. It’s always the best thing that get discontinued.

The base cereal is different from regular Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the taste of the cereal itself overshadows that of the cinnamon so it ends up tasting pretty bland. It doesn’t taste anything like actual cinnamon rolls, anyone saying that is a bot. It tastes more like a corn puff type cereal. It grows on you a bit but is still very much inferior to most the other flavors.

I opened the box and immediately smelled vanilla, like the cream icing on a sugar bun! It is a dark cereal, and is full of cinnamon flavor, but not overpowering. I tasted one dry piece, it’s not crunchy like their other cereals. It’s definitely a soft crunch, not the kind that needs milk to soften, so this is great if you like a dry cereal that won’t cut your gums or break your teeth. I then added milk, tasted it right away and it was good, not soggy. I couldn’t immediately taste the cinnamon roll, it was more like “yum, that’s really good, it has a familiar flavor, cinnamon and vanilla, and a nice soft crunch”. Then I let it sit for a minute, this is when the milk absorbed through the top layer, but left a small “crunch” on the inner layer. This is also when I could taste it as a cinnamon roll, but a roll that was dipped in milk. This was when I was going to give it 4 stars, but realized my personal dislike of a wet cinnamon roll, shouldn’t affect the rating. I personally don’t like cookies dipped in milk, and this tasted like a cinnamon roll dipped in milk. It still had a soft crunch to it. So the way I eat these; I pour my milk in the bowl and then sprinkle some cereal on top and eat immediately, it’s not soggy and doesn’t taste like a wet roll, it tastes delicious!

This is my new favorite cereal!! They're made of crunchy (but not hard) yummy pieces that take some time before they start to get soggy if they're left sitting in milk. They look like Barbie sized cinnamon rolls that have a hint of a buttery flavor and a generous blast of sweet cinnamon. I'm a total cereal head and i know my stuff!!
