Alright, so here's the scoop on my ice bath journey. I hit the big 3-0 and realized my body wasn't bouncing back from workouts like it used to. I’ve been hearing about the benefits of ice baths and cold therapy everywhere, so I wanted to test it out for myself. I have to say it has completely changed my recovery routine and I am feeling great!The ice bath itself is well built, easy to set up, and surprisingly spacious (I can get my whole body to my neck under water), the thermometer is a convenient addition; love trying to get that temperature down and see how long I can last in there! (At the moment I’m in there for 4 minutes at 46 degrees) The easy drain feature is a time-saver. No mess, no fuss – I leave the water in there for about a week, sometimes longer, before I change it.I can't stop raving about this thing; my buddies at the gym are all hopping on the ice bath train. Trust me, it's not just for the pros – this ice bath is a total must for anyone looking to amp up their recovery game.

As a hockey player I've used cold water therapy in the past, but never had my own set up. This portable ice bath seemed a great option as it was very affordable compared to others, had a cool sleek look to it, and it came with the added thermometer which others did not.So after 2 weeks of solid use, I can confirm that this ice bath is great! I'm actually very impressed.Firstly, the set up was very simple and the instructions were clear with pictures to guide me through in under 5 minutes.Secondly, once set up with water and ice added, getting in and out of the tub is so easy! Because of the large size and wideness of the design, it's easy to simply step in and out of the ice bath with no strain and the tub is still big enough for me to get my full body (to the neck) in the water! How good is that!Thirdly, the lid and thermometer are very handy inclusions as the lid keeps debris out of the water when not in use, and the thermometer lets me know how cold the water is so I can make sure it's nice and chilly!Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. This ice bath has completely improved my post recovery and now I use it almost every day! If you're thinking about it, get it now! It's great!

Easy set up, could be decent if the seams were better. It leaked as soon as I put water in it. Ordered areplacement. Hopefully next one checks out. I'll update.***UPDATE***Second one leaked more than the first. Don't wast your money. Nice idea. Poor quality. I was excited about this one. Too bad. Buy a horse troff and an ice machine. I dunno.

Where and how to setup to keep cold! Must keep water off and prevent storms from blowing top off, planned & installed! Cost less than $50 extra.

I bought the Prodigy X ice bath from Amazon and let me tell you, I was not disappointed.Firstly, the set up? Like 5 minutes. The instructions are easy to follow with clearly written directions and images showing each step! Couldn't be more easy.Secondly, the materials? Really sturdy and thick! I’ve been doing 5-10 minutes so far and the temperature of the water doesn't drop at all for the duration of the ice bath. Based on that I’d say the insulation is great.Thirdly, this does not seem like it will ever rip or tear. In fact, it feels like it will last a very long time. I can move around and press down on the tub when getting in and out and it handles my weight against it easily!BONUS: The additional thermometer (which I didn't see any others offer) is great because I can easily monitor the water to make sure it's actually cold enough to have the best benefits. From my research, 50 degrees or less is the sweet spot!Overall, I’m really really impressed with the Prodigy X ice bath, and I highly recommend you give them a shot!

I used the last version for over a year with minimal issues. When I accidently tore the 1st tub after over a year of use I decided to go with the same brand. This one has an inner liner that developed small tares, allowing water into the area between the liner and the out side membrane.

I was on the hunt for a cold plunge solution that wouldn't break the bank or take up lots of space in my home. This thing fits perfect in my backyard!Pros:- Setup is a breeze!- Easy to achieve the temperature I want - I’m trying it out at 50-55 degrees to begin with, easy done with a few ice bags.- Cover keeps the water clean- Wallet-friendly and surprisingly good quality! I was a bit skeptical about getting a leaky, flimsy thing for the price, but it's holding up like a champ.Areas for improvement:- Honestly, at this stage, this is exactly what I was looking for. You get what you pay for, and in this case, you're definitely getting your money's worth!Highly recommend! 👍

This is perfect for someone wanting to try or get into cold plunge. Set up was very simple and took me maybe fifteen minutes. I ordered the silicone cube trays as well and I can get mine to reach 50 degrees in about an hour after throwing two or three cubes in. Me being a little larger of a guy wishes I got a more tub style one but I wasn't ready to spend that kinda money. Overall I'm very happy with this and I'm using it just about every night after work and it's been helping with the inflammation in my joint. I recommend anyone to try it.
