These are really handy little lockouts. Working on distribution boards is a mainstay of my work as a handyman and when I spotted these I figured they would make a very sensible addition to my toolkit. They are good for when you are actively working on a circuit or when leaving a circuit non-energised for a period when performing more involved wiring tasks.In use the loockout simply clips over the breaker lever making it impossible to activate, there is a hole through the casing if you wish to use a small padlock for added security (not always a bad idea).So far they've fitted over all the different makes of MCBs I've tried them on so they are very good in that regard. At around £15 for 10, the price is reasonable - especially if it saves your bacon.

Nice and simple lockout device for MCB / RCBO etc.The device works just as well as my more expensive kit.. ( yes I know the padlock and warning labels are not attached in my photo, this is just for illustration ).if you know what these are in the first place then you will probably know how to use them appropriately.These feel pretty well made and I was unable to reset my RCBO once it was installed which should hopefully prevent someone from livening up the circuit whilst it is being worked on.Recommended product
