Philips myGarden Raccoon LED Wall Lantern [Anthracite] (1 x 4 W Integrated LED) For Garden and Patio Lighting

We wanted to replace our dated and rusty outside lights with something very different but not too pricey. After a fair bit of searching we came back to these and the Philips brand sold me. They are a little smaller than I had thought but this slightly diminutive size doesn't affect the light they produce. Very good. Husband also reliably informs me that they were a doddle to install, and he is certainly NOT Mr DIY! Very pleased and highly recommended.

Lihts not very robust and fiddly to fit, but worth the effort

Straight forward to fit if you know what you’re doing, but a little fiddly too. No motion detection in this model as expected. Structure feels good, but is all plastic. Looks great! Hope it holds up to its outside promise.

So much to like here but spoilt by flaws in installation design. I like its size shape colour, lumen output, eco rating,IP rating and the manufacturers reputation. I bought two - one with motion sensor and one without. First fault is that the light components are on the back of the face plate and not on the back plate, in addition the slim profile means a small tight channel for the cable and chock box. The result is that when you connect the chock box you have to peer over the top of the unit to see if the cable is safely stowed. Second and worst fault tho is the fact that the face plate fixing screws are located in the top and bottom of the unit, they are absolutely tiny and the holes are very precise. I was lucky on the installation of the first one because that bottom screw found its mark straight away. However, it took over an hour to get the bottom screw in on the second unit. Several times the tiny screw dropped out either onto the block pavers or into the echo channel in the paving. A really frustrating experience caused by a pretty thoughtless piece of design.

I actually wanted the PIR version, however I have mounted this in the back garden and I am very pleased with this product.

Nicely built product, great value. Cable does have to enter from the back, no option for any other entry point, but that was fine for me.Packaging shows it as 3W, 270Lumen, not the 4W as described. Scan of information panel attached.I've replaced a similar product that used 11W Compact fluorescent and this seems to give about the same output which may be because all light is directed forwards; it does not light the wall behind.

Su luz es LED, con una temperatura de color de 2700K (amarillo cálido, más de lo que parece en la foto de producto). Se ve una lampara bonita aunque todo de plastica. Le doy 3 estrellas porque la luz que da es muy poca. La tengo en una terraza de 5m2 y casi no ilumina.

Ich habe die Philips LED Wandaußenleuchte für meine locia ( Dachterrasse ) bestelt .Als sie kam ausgepackt hat mir gefallen wie auf dem Bild und auch erwartet, alte leuchte abmontiert die neuePhilips LED Wandaußenleuchte ging supper einfach zu montieren.Nachts leuchtet sie sehr schön die Dachterrasse aus.Sehr schön modern Leuchtkraft und helichkeit supper kauf.

Wir kauften diese Außenlampe ohne Bewegungsmelder 01/2015, sie hängt bis heute an der Terrassenwand. Die lt. Beschreibung versprochene "optimale Lichtleistung, lebendige Farben und atemberaubende Lichteffekte" können wir nicht bestätigen, der Tisch steht unweit der Lampe entfernt und wir helfen mit Kerzenschein oder Lichterkette nach, romantischer Zugewinn. Bedingt durch permanente Sonnenstrahlung sind die hellen Elemente deutlich unschön vergilbt, die graue Umrandung lässt sich einfach abschieben und nun testen wir Internetreinigungstips um einen Neukauf einer Außenlampe herauszuzögern.
