Velcro is cheaply made. Probably won’t last long

The way that the pedals are designed- it puts the impact on your arches. No bueno. I flipped the pedals upside down so that I can put my weight on the ball of my foot which is ideal. However, in doing so there isn't as much to stop your foot from sliding out of the straps. This also wouldn't really work for anyone who's foot is bigger than a 9/10 mens (I wear a 9) or 11/12 womens as your foot may hit the floor or end up being too long to put the pressure on the ball of your foot. In the meantime I'm going to figure out what i can adhere to the pedal to make a stopper for my heel.Other than that---easy assembly- took me 45 minutes by myself from unboxing to full assembly.-it's a simple contraption that works well.-I just monitor my time and number of strokes-- the distance gauge doesn't seem to work at all- just stays at 0, kind of a bummer, but for my purposes the machine works for cardio in my circuit and that's good enough for me.-the noise it makes just happens from the sliding of the seat back and forth. so not whisper quiet- but not loud. I suppose about the volume of normal speaking voice.-Initially I thought the tension didn't get very high at all, but after using it on level 4 for about 20 min (out of 8) I am definitely getting a good quad burn so I still have a way to go to move up levels.-If you have hardwood floors or smooth floors- you will need a textured mat of some kind to keep it from moving. A cheap yoga mat does the trick. I have three 2x2 puzzle piece style rubber mats I got from walmart that work.I would probably have purchased a different model because of the pedal issue, but It works well enough after I altered the pedals so I'll stick with it. I've just used it about 5 times so far so I can't say much about the longevity of the device.

I looked at a lot of machines before purchasing this one. I was a little anxious because it is really difficult to find any reviews of this product. That said, I am very happy with the machine. It is very solid. Went together smoothly in about 30 minutes. I've only had it about two months, but it is just as it was on day one. I use it every other day at least and it works great. The seat is comfortable too. Granted, it's not getting hard core use, but I'm 65 and it is my first experience with a rowing machine. I'm in pretty decent shape for an old guy, and I'm sure once the old muscles get used to the process, I'll be increasing the frequency of use ( I ride my bike about 10 miles on the other days). It has plenty of resistance for me. I have three clicks to go before I'm at the top, but it will be a while before I get there. I'm 6'2" and get full extension of my legs with no problem. The monitor is very basic, but I'm just trying to get the heart pumping, not qualify to race 5000 meters. I like the scan setting so I can see all the details about my adventure. Doesn't seem to have a cumulative read of my progress, unless I don't reset each time. But no biggie for me. I just want to make sure I'm reaching my goal each time. Highly recommend it to newbies like me.

Have been looking for an indoor piece of exercise equipment to have in my apartment, and this is a perfect solution. It stows away nicely out of the way against the wall and is quiet enough that I can watch TV while I row. I've had it for 6 days and have rowed every day on it. The seat slides smoothly, the whole unit feels stable, and it is a perfect fit in a second bedroom.Delivery was at my apartment building and I had to get it upstairs. I managed, barely, so would recommend two people if you need to carry it upstairs. Assembly instructions were clear and no additional tools were required. I took my time - unpacking and assembly was probably an hour.My only complaint is the distance measurement isn't set to meters so takes a while to register any distance. (0.0 after 15 minutes of rowing, finally got it to 0.1 at about 20 minutes!)I think this rower is a great intro to rowing machines, and a perfect solution when space is a concern. I've recommended this so highly, that two friends and possible my daughter are also buying it.

I would give the unit a 5 star except I had some rocky problems getting all the needed hardware to assemble the unit. It was shipped without the assembly package! It has taken a month to get the hardware package. The customer service was reasonably good but could be improved. I know that I was taking a risk with a product that at the time had zero reviews. The price and the quality of the unit made that risk seem justified. Now I have had some time with the product and I must say it was worth it! It provides a very smooth quiet and excellent workout. The only issue I have is that the assembly manual does not show the battery compartment which can be hard to notice as it is a flush panel that appears to be part of the flywheel housing.

Delivery was very fast (arrived a week earlier than expected) and assembly was simple with easy to follow instructions. The machine seems to be well made. My only issue with the machine is that it is so low to the floor and since I'm an older female, getting on and off the machine was not an easy feat to accomplish. But to rectify that issue - I just built a platform for the machine using some concrete blocks I had available. I don't like going to the gym, and sharing equipment, so I have put together a small gym in my finished basement and this rowing machine is the perfect addition to my personal gym. Very happy with my purchase so far. I hope to get many hours of exercise using this machine. I hope it can handle the task:}

It does not have a very heavy resistance. It was pretty easy to assemble. However it does not track distance. It tracks time and calories and how many rows but does not track kilos or miles. It’s great for rowing for time like a consistent 10 min or 30 minute workout is amazing as long as you don’t need to know how far you’re going.
