Smooth Colombian Soul with Everyday Brew Confidence
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Smooth Colombian Soul with Everyday Brew Confidence Amazon Fresh Colombian Whole Bean Coffee Review — Balanced, Aromatic, and RAV4-Reliable for Your Mornings The Amazon Fresh Colombia Whole Bean surprised me in the best way — approachable, clean, and consistently satisfying. The beans brew into a smooth, mellow-rich medium roast with gentle cocoa warmth, subtle nut notes, and a soft brightness that never goes sour or over-acidic. The aroma is fresh, inviting, and respectful of your nostrils, filling the room like “premium coffee,” not “bitter life lesson.” Grind quality is uniform, which helps avoid clogs, sad uneven extraction, or surprise bitterness spikes. I’ve used it in my grinder, then brewed in drip machines, and it delivers a cup that’s balanced, clean, and pleasantly drinkable black or with milk and sweetener. ☕ Best for: Daily brewing rituals without caffeine melodrama Coffee minimalists who want flavor without a flavor treaty Meal-prep mornings and relaxed evening cups Gifting to coffee lovers who actually drink coffee 👍 Pros: ✔ True medium roast balance — smooth and versatile ✔ Fresh Colombian aroma and flavor notes ✔ Uniform beans for clean grinding ✔ Works across drip, press, or reusable filter setups ✔ Affordable, daily-friendly bulk value ✔ No harsh additives or confusing flavor identity ⚠ Cons / Tips: • It’s medium roast, perfectly balanced, not espresso-volcano bold — boldness lovers may want something darker. • Use fresh, filtered water and a clean grinder for peak results (coffee can’t carry the whole process alone). • Store beans in an airtight jar to keep freshness maxed — dry air is the only villain coffee can’t outbrew. Bottom line: If you want a smooth, dependable, daily-use whole bean coffee that tastes better than its price tag suggests, this is an easy 5 stars. Great for everyday brewing and kitchen routines. I’ll absolutely reorder! 👏😎☕🌿✅

Colombian Gold
The best flavor and doesn’t give you stomach acid. Mellow taste. Nice price. Already ground. I usually get beans and grind it myself but this is just as strong as the beans. I live 109% Colombian. It’s the best coffee. This is a product from Amazon Fresh. They have the best things!!

Amazon's Whole Bean Regular Coffee.... and a Whole Bean Decaf
Columbian used to have that "punch" when you first open the can or bag. Not this. Kona Hawaiian coffee is still the best coffee on the planet, but you will pay 50 dollars for a bag of the 100% pure stuff. When I saw Amazon was selling its own brand of Columbian coffee, the expectations were very high. After all, this is their signature label. Honestly, I found it a little weak in flavor, and tastes like it has been sitting somewhere for a year or more. Aging coffee kills coffee. Time is not coffee's friend. Coffee experts will tell you to only brew what you are going to immediately use, because you have about a half hour after grinding whole beans and brewing them until the coffee flavor starts going over the falls in a big way. There is no difference in the ground and fresh brewed Amazon Columbian that I can taste. Yes it is Arabica. The price is not bad, Walmart sells its ground coffee in cans for about the same price, but again, I only brew Walmart coffee when all other options fail me. So, bottom line ... want to grind your own beans? Do you want a coffee brand that is the price of your local store brand? This is the coffee for you. You can brag Columbian coffee at your house to your friends. After some time has passed... and I already bought and reviewed the dark and medium Amazon roasts, I bought the Amazon medium roast whole bean DECAFFEINATED coffee. After all.. its whole beans. Has to taste great and fresh when grinding whole beans. And I needed a decaf to replace the rising price Gevalia and Tim Horton brands... which are excellent in taste, but a little pricey for a 12 ounce bag. OK. The story starts HERE for the DECAF VERSION of the whole bean coffee. A mystery is afoot, and it is this. The first couple cups / a pot or so of the decaf... had a very strange flavor. It was a black licorice tasting flavor the best that I could compare it. It was not a good thing for me... I prefer red licorice. Time passed. I ran out of my Tim Horton's and was refusing to buy it at "the other" place and Amazon apparently was temporarily out. So I turned to the decaf whole bean in my cabinet. Coffee experts say... after grinding whole beans you have about two weeks before the ground coffee starts decaying in flavor. That is why we buy WHOLE beans. For the freshness. And after roasting the beans... which has been done before any coffee gets to any retail outlets... you have a year and a half or so of freshness. A LOT of time to use one little bag. Especially if you are a coffee fiend like myself and Elon Musk. (Who also would not start his 12 hour days without his coffee ritual.) So, the coffee roasting time has a lot of grace compared to the coffee "ground" time, which is very quick and probably about two weeks after a coffee is ground to still be fresh. Anyway, I ground the three mugs worth that I consume immediately at breakfast and mixed them with my current regular caffeine coffee. Once again... Gevalia or Tim Horton are both fine to mix with the Amazon decaf. To my utter shock... this was a different coffee from the first cups I had brewed. There WAS NO licorice smell or flavor. It tasted fine. Matter of fact, the flavor of the rest of the decaf Amazon coffee so far... is a bit more robust and hardy from average. I could grow to like this. The bottom line is... I cannot account for the flavor and taste change. I will update and get back to you as this unfolds. If the bag is consistant and the next bag is consistant in flavor... I will tell you that. At this point in time... its just a simple anomaly. Could be as simple as an accidental spill at the packing plant into some beans or one bag of a spice or liquid spice commonly sold in stores for baking. So I feel bad that initially I gave the coffee two stars because of the strange flavor. Now as you can see... that has changed. I would say try it. For the money and the flavor you may prefer it. No complaints here for now. And you get to grind it fresh... the only decaf whole bean coffee I know of.

Really good tasting coffee
I was skeptical and decided to try Amazon's brand whole bean coffee because my regular subscription was out of stock. Purchased the small bag to try it out. Had to go to the store for a small bag of beans because my delivery was going to be in the evening. Got a Dunkin' original medium roast to hold me over. The Amazon Columbian roast smells better in the bag and in the cup than the other. It's slightly darker in color but not oily. It tastes way better with no acidity. I do a medium course grind and use 5 TBS for my 5 cup drip maker. I usually get 5lb bags of other brands but I really like this one. It's most definitely going to be a bigger bag delivered monthly from now on. The roast is great, smells so fresh and tastes fantastic. Great quality.

Great utility decaf! Really good price if you need whole decaf beans.
It tastes less dark than it looks which is a benefit for me as I am trying to find a lighter decaf roast. It plays well when used to make personal half caff mixes with things like Starbucks Sunsera and Veranda. I would say if anything it is very "inoffensive" in flavors? There's very little of anything beyond what I would call "coffee." There's no particular standout sweetness, nuttiness or anything to it. I am surprised by this given how visibly dark it is compared to another decaf roast I have. For the very, very competitive price at 12oz and how fresh the package seems (no roast date but "expiration" is June 2026, so this package might be only a few months old as of September 2025) I think I'd add this in as a tool to make half caff (or perhaps quarter caff or other mix rates) or otherwise if I just want to taste the most inoffensive coffee sometimes. Being whole bean rather than ground makes it even better. Decaf coffee degrades faster due to the way decaf processes require the beans to be "opened up" before they undergo decaf. Whole beans means there's a lot less surface area exposed to the beans and the highly competitive pricing for small packages means only ordering (and opening) them up when I'm running low on them so that'll reduce degradation more. Definitely more of a tool than standalone roast for my espressos. For roast darkness comparison in the photo is: Starbucks Sunsera - Amazon Fresh Decaf Colombia Medium - Blue Bottle Coffee Decaf

Very light Roast
I decided to write this review to help other customers. I am a DD drinker and wanted to try something else. If you’re looking for VERY mild coffee this is one for you!! This coffee is not bold, it is not strong, it is not bitter either! it’s actually semi sweet. It’s a very light roast. If it was stronger, it would be the perfect soft medium coffee!!

Perfect Beans for My Semi-Automatic Espresso Maker!
I bought these beans to use with my semi-auto espresso machine, and they’ve been amazing. The grind comes out consistent, the crema is gorgeous, and the flavor is rich without being bitter. I get that smooth, café-style shot every single time. You can really taste the freshness — the beans are oily in the right way, not too dry, and they pull a bold, balanced shot whether I’m making a latte, americano, or just straight espresso. Even my husband noticed the difference. Super easy to dial in, too. I didn’t have to fight with my machine or waste a ton of shots to get the flavor right. For the price and quality, these might be my new everyday beans. If you’ve got a semi-auto espresso maker and want something reliable, flavorful, and easy to work with, these beans are 10/10. Highly recommend!

This is Coffee
Nothing fancy, just nice coffee beans. I like the fancy flavored stuff too, but sometimes I just want a cup of regular Joe. This is a big bag of beans for a good price. It says Columbia on the label, but 100% Arabica in smaller print. Well what is it, Columbian or Arabica? Those are two different things. But who cares? I just wanted a bag of regular Joe. Smells good, grinds up nice, and wakes me up in the morning. I make it by the cup with a drip funnel, and 40 turns of my grinder makes a cup of diner-style coffee. You want stronger, use more. I would call it a medium roast, because it's nothing like a dark roast, but really it's just regular old coffee, and ain't nothing wrong with that.
