Purchased for my son who wanted a watch. Wasn’t expecting anything amazing - inexpensive product for a child to wear. Keeps time. But band is super cheap material and after a few weeks started to break apart.

The nylon band on my everyday watch became extremely raggedy. I wanted a new watch--one with a leather band. The JIANDUN watch was an answer to a prayer. At $24.95 (at the time of this review), it was a bargain. Now, this watch is on sale for $19.95, which is a super bargain. I requested the "Casual-Black" design which has a leather band that is the color of beach sand; it coordinates well with most everything I wear. Most importantly, the numbers on the face are easy to read, the band is comfortable (it doesn't scratch or "bite" into my wrist), and the timer is simple and easy to operate. I didn't want a watch with a million functions I would never utilize. I didn't want a smart watch, a diving watch, or an athletic watch that would count my steps. I just wanted a watch that displayed the correct time, looked attractive, and was comfortable to wear.The JIANDUN watch arrived with batteries already installed. It also arrived with a cleaning cloth for wiping the face. Don't worry about it becoming damaged during S&H. It came well packaged inside a sturdy cardboard box, it had a transparent face shield, and a piece of plastic that kept the watch from operating unintentionally. This watch is also waterproof but I'm not going to test this by purposely getting it wet. This JIANDUN watch is small and lightweight. It is intended for teenagers, young men, or small men. I have slender wrists. I can't imagine a very large or overweight man wearing this watch. If you are young and/or athletic and are in need of an attractive, stylish, easy-to-operate watch, then I recommend a JIANDUN watch. I have been wearing mine for nearly two weeks without any issues.
