Easy setup, great picture quality & bird recognition.

Works as described. Videos are very good. The solar panel charges up the camera perfectly. Startup was a little challenging but worked it out. It took a couple of tries to get the camera to pair with the app on my phone. The bird ID function is accurate as long as the bird is in full view of the camera. I am very satisfied and highly recommend if you’re a bird watcher.

I don’t write many reviews unless something is really awesome or devastatingly terrible. VERY disappointed in product. My dad loves birds and got this as a gift. When the box arrived I could see loose bolts attached to the shipping tape. Once we opened the box it was obvious we had received a return. It was totally disassembled with all the pieces thrown everywhere in the box no bags for bolts or any of the pieces period. There was no protective material in box of any kind - no packing peanuts or indiviso box for the item - literally just loose items and the Amazon brown box. It was clear the bird house had been previously assembled and used. There was bird seed found and the Camera and bird house box itself was scuffed/scratched. Pieces of were missing. I could do on. NOT WORTH THE MONEY is an UNDERSTATEMENT. DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY. Now I have to go waste my time and gas to take this to be returned when it should just be thrown away. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

This was the 2nd one I ordered, as the first came missing parts. Opted for the more expensive model and was pleasantly satisfied when everything went together and worked. The software that supports the feeder/camera is excellent in design but lacks detailed instruction. It became a try this and see if it works routine. It's an interesting bird feeder and also doubles as a security camera. The 2-way talk feature and alarm is an added bonus. I'd rate this as a good buy.

I purchased this birdfeeder along with another one from the same company, and this one is my favorite. The only thing that would make it better is if the solar panel were detachable and could be repositioned to get more light and would be nice if the panel for refilling birdseed or larger and possibly snap on instead of having to secure with a screw. Hours of fun wherever you go with your mobile device or computer you can watch multiple cameras from different bird feeders at least if they’re from the same company.

Bought this as a gift for my retired dad. After he installed it and got it up and running he was shocked to see how much the birds eat. He likes getting the notifications and watching the videos.

I had high hopes for this feeder. One i didn’t know there was an app you have to pay for. You don’t need the app but if you want it to work to its full potential then you should get it. The instructions are not clear on how to use it and I still don’t know what the plastic moving cover is for. It seems like it should protect the camera but the camera won’t go in if you use the cover. I tried going online to get help and found nothing useful. I was so excited to get this now I’m regretting it. For this price I would definitely wait for a sale.

Very happy with this bird feeder/camera combo. Syncing with my home WiFi was a little sketchy, due to warnings displayed regarding router compatibility with 2.4GHz WiFi only. After a few trys, the camera connected to my dual band router with no problem. I mistakenly read the Wi-Fi warnings as a failure to connect, when in fact they appear to just be a reminder that the camera will only connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi. The signal strength is excellent at over 100' from my router.I have the feeder mounted in a sunny spot, and the solar charging of the battery works well.
