Will light up your whole front yard
Our original lamp post in our front yard reached 29 years and has seen better days. It was a single lamp and even with a LED bulb it was not very bright. I had replaced the photo sensor 3 times and decided it was time fora new one. I chose this model because of the built in GFCI receptacles and the 3 light configuration which allows up to 100 watt bulbs. Putting it together was pretty easy. Wiring was also easy as there was an instruction sheet making it pretty easy to follow. My old lamp which was put in by the home builder in 1995 was just buried about 2.5 feet into the ground, no concrete used at all. The new lamp is made to bolt into a concrete foundation. After securing the power I dug out the old lamp and disconnected the wiring. Picked up a 5 gallon plastic bucket and used a hole saw to make a 2 inch hole in the bottom. I then ran the wire up through the hole and placed the bucket into the hole so that it was about 1 inch higher than the ground surrounding the hole. I filled it in with dirt about halfway up the bucket and used a level to ensure it was straight. I then used some Quickcrete fast set (Red bag) and poured it dry into the bucket all the way to the top. I also put Quickcrete around the outside of the bucket on top of the dirt, I put about a 2 inch layer. I then covered the outside around the bucket with more dirt covering the Quickcrete. Whats cool about the Quickcrete is that you do not have to pre-mix it. You can use a watering can and just pour water right on top of the Quickcrete. I used a piece of rebar to poke holes in the Quickcrete aiding in the water absorption. Did the same thing on the outside of the bucket. I let it cure for about 24 hours. The lamp comes with 3 anchors but I did not use them. I had some Tapcons laying around, they were 3/8 by 4 inches long. I used the metal bottom template from the lamp and used my drill with a concrete bit to drill into the concrete. Once the holes were drilled I mounted the base using the tapcons and my drill with a hex driver bit. Base was rock solid. I took the top portion which I already wired and assembled and connected my wiring from the ground. Then placed the top portion on the base and used the 3 screws provided to secure the lamp. Turned the power back on and since it was still daylight I covered the photo sensor with my hand. The light did not come on. I was sure all my electric connections were good so I checked the GFCI outlet on the lamp post and noticed that the breaker was tripped. I reset it and covered the sensor again and voila we have lights! I did not use the bulbs that came with the lamp kit. I decided to go with 100W LED standard E26 base bulbs. When dusk came the 3 lights came on and my front yard was super bright. Highly recommend this product, base and lamp are aluminum so it is very lightweight. Looks awesome also.

Outlet no weatherproof!
The lamp post went together well and looks awesome where it is! However, after a mild rain, the outlet will not reset which in turn will not allow the lights to work. I’m past the return window and now I have an expensive lawn ornament that does nothing until I can figure out how to replace the outlet properly so the lamp post will work. If you’re considering buying this, plan for something in addition to the outlet so you won’t have the same problem I did.

Perfect
I replaced my deck which had an older three post lamp on it and decided on this one with the integrated outlets. This one is not as sturdy as my older one but it's still sturdy enough and looks good.

Update: now working
We’ve had this lamp for nine weeks. Eight weeks after installation there is no power going to the lights. The GFCI has power going to it, but will not reset. There is a cover so I am sure that it did not get direct rain but possibly moisture is an issue for this set up.UPDATE: after my husband pulled it apart to check for wiring problems and put it all back together, it now works. 😏☺️ We have no idea what the problem was other than the possibility that when you connect the 3 light fixtures and put the top part of the pole together, you twist the electrical wires multiple times when you screw on the top of the lamp and maybe it pulled something loose. Nothing was noticeably loose though but it now works. A bit strange how the top is connected and can cause wires to pull apart or loosen even if they are secure. It is a beautiful lamp post and sheds lots of light. We Actually went to lower wattage lightbulbs because it was so bright.

Great value for a complete front lawn lighting pole.
Used this post lamp to replace one that had been blown down. Provides a good, bright light: dusk-to-dawn function works well (allows the user to keep the power switch on full time. Not a difficult install. All the parts were in the box. Putting the pole lamp together is easy enough for someone with a decent working knowledge of tools and basic AC wiring (it's just basic black/white/ground wires). Can't over emphasize how important the foundation/concrete pad is: suggest18"x18" minimum width/8-12" deep). The foundation took a day to do, the pole 2.5 hours.

Ignore instructions!
The lamp itself is very nice, looks really good and seems solid. However, the instructions are wrong. The length the instructions say to leave the mounting bolts in the concrete is to short! Needed to be longer than the stated length. Also, I had to add length to the supplied wire on one of the sections. Not a big deal, I got thru it. Light works and looks fantastic.

Was really happy with the quality
I was impressed on how well this is. The powder coating is nice and and future service if needed will be easy cus of how the parts go together. ** I did go with 1 5/8 instead of the 1 3/4 the instructions said. I wanted a little more crush on the washer.
