Ultron UM-100 Basic Optical PS/2 3 Button Mouse

Bought a secondhand Dell ( old ) for playing old Windows 98 games. It only has one USB socket and I need that for a cd player.This mouse worked great once I got used to using a wired mouse again. I pulled out the mouse and went back for a second session and the darned thing would not go in the socket. I investigated and found the thin connectors in the plug surrounding the central thicker piece were bent over. I live alone so only I could have done this. I used some eyebrow tweezers to straighten them.So great PS2 mouse but pull mouse plug out of the socket without twisting it and if you have problems fitted it in again check out the thin connections pieces - they are like thin wires - don't force the plug in.Great mouse, just watch it.

recently dug out my old 2000 hewlet computer for some retro win98 gaming as win10 is too snobby to even see most 98 games or utilities. of course the mouse was dead. bought this and it plugged straight in, great as comp doesnt have any usb(made 1 year before usb became standard). optical miles detter than ball, comfortable and more accurate than ball.

I bought this because my iMac sometimes fails to recognise my wireless mouse. This mouse is cheap and works well. It's not particularly beautiful and feels a bit clunky after my Apple mouse, but who cares?

Mouse was comfortable enough to use. Scroll wheel felt a git 'grindy' but worked. The real problem was that the left mouse button failed after a day of use - clicks sometimes resulted in 2 click signals or none at all. Made it unusable. I would have returned it if it wasn't so cheap (not worth the time/effort).

Very good. Given the price it's very impressive with a sufficiently long lead. It's basic but that's all that was expected.
