At £2.50, this genuine Parker black refill is excellent value. It writes smoothly and consistently, with no scratching or blotching like the cheaper “compatible” refills. The fine tip gives a clean, precise line that keeps my handwriting legible (always good to be able to read your own writing :). Overall, a reliable refill that’s well worth five stars.

Lovely medium point refills to replace the supplied fine point refill in my nice new Parker IM pen. These work straight out of the packet - no flow problems at all. I get zero scratching on paper, whereas I did get a little bit of scratching now and again with the fine refill supplied with the pen. The black ink is consistent - no thinning out as I write, no blobbing and no smudging! If only my writing was as nice as these medium point refills would allow!! Yes, not cheap, but they are genuine Parker and the quality compared with cheaper inferior 'compatibles' is as you'd expect from the brand and this price point. Happy with my purchase.

Refills were very good quality for money, I’ve lasted quite a long time even during the exam season where I have sat multiple exams each day. They’re very easy to change and use.
