Case in Point 9: Complete Case Interview Preparation

Plenty of worked examples and practice cases, falls short for me on framework consistency
Well I seem to rate this much lower than the average. I am framework driven and like clear MECE structures in educational materials. I found the frameworks, questions and hint and tips to be largely buried in the text - often boxed out but not in a very consistent manner across case types - with the one exception of one page which list the key factors to be considered by case types. I also favour a flexible hypothesis led system aka Victor Cheng, but if you are right out of business school and have less experience, I am sure frameworks are helpful. What is great about this book is all the practice cases and worked examples, something that I find to be completely lacking in Victors book, though available at additional cost on his website.

Hands down the best case interview guide out there!
Those who know about consulting and how competitive is the selection process for the big name consulting firms is. Case in Point has served as the definitive guide (over several years) for giving candidates the required edge to beat the competition and impress the recruiters. In fact it is a great tool for anyone looking to get hired into a commercially focused position - response to any question related to your experience can be structured using the Ivy Case structure, which enable you to hit the right points and deliver a punchy reply expected of a business professional. I have seen this book evolve and recommend it unreservedly.
