I am new to laser engraving but this laser engraver has made it really easy to get setup and practice engraving my own products. I have been practicing on some sample wood pieces and the LightBurn software has made it easy to connect my machine, upload various images, focus in on my item, set the strength for the material type, and see my image burnt into the wood like magic.The laser does put out some fumes which is to be expected so I definitely recommend having a fan and/or doing it in a well ventilated area. Depending on the material you are etching the fumes might not be great to breath in.Being a beginner though, i found this machine easy to setup out of the box and get started with and I think it will be suitable to carry me well into this hobby for the foreseeable further. I am getting more and more ideas of things i want to try and am excited to have this in my crafting toolbox.

Bad Engraving Quality but Really Easy to Assemble

It cuts through wood and engraves designs with incredible sharpness. The built-in safety features like the magnetic cover are a big plus, giving peace of mind while using it.

It’s been pretty good. It does freak out sometimes and won’t burn right. We have only been able to do wood and tumblers, everything else that it says it does, doesn’t turn out using the specifications that the book has. It take some testing to get things just right.

This is a good machine that works full and has all the basic features you need for starting out in Engraving without being overwhelming. It assembled easily and quickly enough and has a simple height focus which is nice as least for me as a beginner.

Received our machine about 6 weeks ago and so far, we have being enjoying it since day one.Very easy to put together (just fallow instructions to build) to get it ready to go.Software to use the machine was simple to download and it has a lot of features to make it simple to get your projects done.Love the quality and precision of the cutting as well as the clarity of the engrave feature.Highly recommend for a person that is new into this business like me.

Only worked for 4 months. It should have worked for 1500 hours but only worked for 135 hours. Several other people on their Facebook page have reported the same issue. I contacted Kentoktool through email because it’s still under warranty. They had me run some tests and send them the results but now they haven’t responded in over a week. Looks like I’ll buy a different brand.
