Thanks to the previous owner we have a slew of GU10 fittings around the house - 32 at a quick count - kitchen, hallway, staircase, upstairs landing, all 3 bathrooms, wife's dressing room, think that's all of them!. All had 50W incandescent bulbs fitted. Over the years I have changed them, initially for the kitchen (8 fittings) to CFL then to LED, a mix of 3 and 4 LED spots and COD (1 square LED) 9-12W bulbs. I bought these a while ago but only tonight fitted some. One kitchen bulb (a 4 LED 12W) was flickering annoyingly so I swopped it for one of these, and when I tested it I could not believe how much better the light was over our main working area - so immediately changed the other 3 on that run to these. The lighting over our main work area is so much better than the previous 3 x 4 LED 12W and 1 x 12W COB LED it's unreal. I now have 1 run of 4 of these on 1 side of the kitchen and 1 run of 4 12W COB bulbs on the other side, and these give much better working light than the 12W COB's and use 1/5th less electricity!If you need flood lighting rather than spot, these are the LED's to buy, I will certainly be buying more!

If you want very warm and really bright, but don't need dimming, these are really great.Tried the neutral version. Incredibly bright and a bit like daylight. But not so ideal when night falls.These went into my conservatory, which is like an office. Really good feel to them.

Wow. Bloody bright bulbs. Very good indeed. Deal for a new build. I’ve had these in my basket for some time. Very much worth the investment. Improved vision in the kitchen. No more dark shadow areas when cooking. I have 8 spot lights in the ceiling these are perfect for giving super bright light out.

Arrived very quickly. Seem very bright. The true test will be whether they last - I have had a lot of other "long life" led bulbs which fail well before their expected time, so we'll see how these last.

Functionality & performance:Very bright and good tone / colour temperature (daylight, not too blue).120 degree light angle is great for filling area.Quite expensive.Value would be OK except that one was dud straight out of the box.Unfortunately Amazon does not provide a link to ask supplier to replace the faulty bulb so can only say quality control should have been better.Can't comment on customer service of supplier. Poor communication options by Amazon.Lifespan - don't know as just fitted. The faulty one may be reflection on poor durability or initial Quality Control.
