Nice light.
I’m very pleased with this light. Very bright at its highest setting with intermediate setting when high power isn’t needed. I also like the lantern function. A very useful light.

love it! wish I had more keychains!
The media could not be loaded. My keychain is heavy so weight is not a concern. It's not heavy anyways. GITD is more useful than I thought for example right after stepping into my dark car after walking to it. This brand will be my go to for keychain lights for as long as they make them. Ridden my bicycle in rain and nothing went wrong. (I used it once it was dry, but to be honest as long it's not soaking it should be mostly o.k. with a press or two. Of course don't charge it if it's wet). Floating button threw me off at first, but it's durable. Battery life is amazing. It can be very bright and very dim if needed. Lots of throw. Technology these days is absolutely incredible. You get what you pay for. The plastic and aluminum models are really nice also. The A8 is unnecessary imo.

worst usability ever
I can't ever recall a gadget that had worse usability design than this flashlight. People have been making flashlights for a hundred years, and all they ever needed for a user interface was a single switch or button. The people who designed this thing made it so that you have to memorize arcane inputs and outputs. For the inputs, five clicks are used to lock or unlock it. For the outputs, two flashes are to tell you that it's locked, while three flashes tell you its unlocked. To turn it on (like, you know, turning on a flashlight), you have to do two clicks as an input. As an added insult to the user, the documentation was written by someone who can't speak English.

Amazingly bright
I bought one of these flashlights after reading a backpacking article about lightweight gear. I found it to be an amazing little light. It's as bright as my son's gun light on his ar15. It takes some time to learn the controls as there are several modes of operation. I liked it so much that i bought four to give as gifts this christmas. I keep it on my Keychain at all times.

Great light
I’ve owned several generations of this light. This is truly the best of them. The metal button makes all the difference in the world. Incredibly bright for its size. Good battery life. Fast charging. And now much easier to use.
