Made fitting of my cafe(dutch style) lock to my commuter bike so easy and fully adjustable as well 100% reconmend

A bit of a fiddle to fit, but nice and secure when completed, instructions could be a little bit clearer, I had the advantage of having used them before on another bike.

This does exactly what it is meant to do, and is easy to use. However, like several other reviewers, I received a piece of card with nothing but a few nuts and bolts. The mountings had fallen off before it was packed, as they were not in the envelope. I contacted customer service immediately, and they couldn't have been more helpful; I had a replacement (fortunately stapled into a polythene bag, as the mountings were trying desperately to escape again but we're contained by the bag) within 48 hours. Amazon was going to look into the ongoing problem with the product going AWOL. If they sort that, then I would recommend this to mount your bicycle frame lock.

Keep your lock secure easy to install

Unfortunately am going to have to return after waiting a week for delivery as has parts missing. The bolts etc were delivered but not the actual flex mount to use them with. Shame

Most UK bikes don't come with the mounting points for a frame lock (which is a pity). These are easy to fit and hold the lock securely

I initially purchased this item from Amazon, but after two fails I finally purchased it from another source. But I can comment on the product.The AXA flex mount does the job very well. Its quite ingenious really. It seems strong, and holds the AXA lock perfectly well. The packaging is totally inadequate, and there have been countless cases of people receiving the item minus the actual plastic straps - just the screw pack. So, perhaps AXA need to review their packaging.IF you can get your hands on the complete AXA Flex mount in its entirety, I recommend it. So much better than just using cable ties as I've heard suggested. That would look bad, rattle, and probably ultimately fail.I do agree that the mount really SHOULD be included with each and every lock AXA sell. But they don't. If you have an AXA lock you really need this mount, so its just as well it works.Two stars deducted for THE WORST packaging solution.

It’s so helpful to install the frame lock

Works great for our bikes with no mounting posts for frame locks.Clever design allows secure strap tightening and loosening with the wide screws. Don't insert the screws until you are ready to tighten them down because it will be difficult to remove them.It can be a little tricky to loop the strap around the seat stays, but this was helped by first looping them tightly unmounted for a while; this gave the straps a little "memory" before installing.The strap ends stick out and your legs may hit them when riding; the instructions suggest cutting them off. But on the off chance I wanted to remove and install again, which would be almost impossible with very short straps, I drilled holes in the strap ends and used a black zip tie to wrap them around the stays.A frame lock that moves can be dangerous (and expensive if it moves laterally into the spokes) and I am confident that this mount holds them securely. Very pleased.

Very easy to use. Look up the videos for mounting. The kit contains the lock you'll need for mounting the strips as well as for mounting the lock onto the strips.

This mounting system is for bike frames that do not have suitable mounting points built into the frame, or when those mounting points are not in a suitable spot for the frame lock you want to use. We have mounted frame locks on carbon and aluminum frames using these AXA mounting system straps. They will also work on other marques of frame locks. If the frame lock lacks suitable holes or slots, they can easily be drilled. The mounting system weighs almost nothing. The result is a very professional look. They will never shake loose. A nice tidy result.
