Nice remote
Great remote which allows programming from the original which is great if you don't have big brand electronics.Only downside is I couldn't get the repeat code working for volume so you have to press the button each time instead of being able to press and hold

Works with virgin 360 box
You can use this to control most of the functions on the virgin 360 box as well as your TV. Turn both on/off. Change channels, view menu, view/set recordings on virgin box. Change volume, choose input, change channels on TV, and also control Bluetooth sound bars, audio equipment, All from this remote.

Duration poor
This product has been fine used only to control the TV, but now, under 2 years after purchase, two of the buttons have ceased to function. It worked well, but I think it ought to last longer than this.

Works with everything
This remote was intended to replace a 15 year old Philips one that died. After typing in the correct code it just works perfectly. I then tried setting it up for an obscure “Dion” Freeview box and it also worked perfectly. It can be a bit tricky to set up macros to E.g. turn both devices off with one button, but I managed it on the 8th attempt.

saved me from buying an HDMI ARC soundbar
Even though my TV has HDMI ARC output that would allow volume control through the TV's remote, my Edifier speaker set has only optical input with its own remote control. Instead of juggling two separate remotes which was annoying I had three options:- buy a decent soundbar with HDMI ARC, these are quite expensive as the lower-end ones sport tiny speakers with sound quality nowhere near as substantial as a dedicated speaker set's (like my Edifiers) that cost the same amount of money- use an HDMI ARC converter, however these either won't allow the use of the TV remote to change volume making them worthless, or use RCA connection that severely degrades sound quality- try a programmable smart remote (by far the cheapest solution if it works)And it does work. I have a TCL branded TV, and instead of getting the remote to recognise the TV and set itself up automatically I decided to map every single button using its learning feature. This is very simple to do and I managed to map all the buttons to my liking in mere minutes. When mapping the volume rocker, I grabbed the Edifier remote and used that instead of the TV's remote so now volume up/down only affects the speaker set, whereas all other buttons are picked up by the TV.The remote's IR blaster has a wide angle so it actually works a lot better than the remote I had for my speakers which had an annoyingly narrow angle. The user guide is in plain English, simple to work with and all the functions are listed e.g. default button layout, automatic TV recognition, learning mode, macros to combine multiple buttons or devices etc.

Learning Function Good Enough
My priority was a good learning function, so I could map 3 remotes onto one (not have them all as separate). The learning function was easy enough, but in results quite hit and miss. Some buttons would not map, or be too weak, or too strong and output a double signal. But trying again and again until each signal produced perfect signal. (Usually the distance between the remotes when learning is vital and different for each device). So yes, it works very well for ir learning devices, but may need a good few hours to perfect all the buttons. The ir cone at the front is indeed nice and wide, and I do not have to aim so precisely.Great value!!

easy once you find the website
Got this to replace a windows media MC2 remote, which is now obsolete, but the website had the code for it and now now it does TV, Mythtv computer and the AV amp.

Very nice remote with great button feel.
I have a Toshiba TV and the remote is useless, due to the fact the buttons are squishy and you are forever pressing things twice or more to get things moving. The One for All remote is an absolute dream in comparison. The first thing I noticed is that there is a proper button feel when using it, and a reassuring clicky feeling when you press a button. I've not had one time that I have had to press a button twice to get something to work.Setup was a breeze, and after a couple of tries I got the right code for my TV, and my Roku Express was easy. Plus with a little bit of programming (dead easy with the instructions) I can now turn off the TV whether I am streaming or using the TV. One tip, save your eyes and use the main OneForAll site to get your codes and info. There are all sorts of bells and whistles, but replacing two remotes without losing any functionality has been a joy and has saved me the messing about 'looking for remotes routine' I usually have when I want to watch something.I highly recommend this remote, and dare I say it, cheap as chips.
