Good insurance against water damage
Placed in HVAC unit drain pan to shutdown unit in case of condensate backup. Also placed another level switch in the drain line. Wired the two switches in series so either one will shutdown the unit in case of water backup - hopefully before flooding the house. Note that bumping either of the switches will shut the system down so mount where they will not be jarred.
