It's legit
I wasn't sure at first. There is a learning curb. I just trimmed out a 3000 square foot house with this. You do need to wait a split second longer when firing than a pneumatic gun, but once you get used to that it fires well. If your trimming baseboard and windows, it's nice not dragging a cord around. I waited until I put down the oak treads before writing this to make sure it was powerful enough. No issues. With a 5 amp battery in it, after two days it's still over halfway full so that's not an issue. Overall very happy and it's replaced my Hitachi pneumatic that I've used for 20 years.

Great Nailer
I love this nailer I wish I bought it years ago. Easy to use no air line to get tangled fires everytime i did trim around my garage I used a lot of nails no issues. Battery life was great, use of use excellent, and dewalt quality as I expect.

Tougher nails, Tougher Nail Gun
15 Gauge is no joke! So much better then the usual 16 or 18. Worth the extra $.

Very nice tool but a little heavy
Could be lighter but does a really good job. Nice addition to tool set and makes jobs easier. Love that it’s cordless

Great product, great value
I do some handy Man work on the side. I had a Dewalt battery operated finish nailer that lasted me at least 10 years. When I was looking for one, some of the places I was looking they were quite expensive. Obviously went to Amazon and found this and it worked just great. If you’re looking for Dewalt finished battery operated Nail gun. This is what you need.

How the heck do I adjust this?
How the heck do I adjust this? Overhead nailing in tight spaces is a task best avoided. Nasty, dusty, grit in the eyes, nasties crawling in my hair, an old house crawl space leaves no room for a traditional hammer. With hundreds of nails needed I splurged and bought this. I worked my way through the manual, until page 11 -- “Adjusting [nail] Depth.” Nail depth is controlled by a small, smooth, slippery tapered gearwheel finger knob. On the seven-mark adjustment scale, using hard finger pressure, the nail depth adjuster moved between two marks, no more. Tough going. Stuck at the lower end of the scale, adjusting for longer nails proved impossible. I applied a measured rotating force to the gearwheel lugs. The force-gauge bottomed out at twenty pounds, and failed to move the marker. In need of nailing, I bought another locally. It too has the same problem. A stack of eight batteries powers a cabinet full of my Dewalt tools. Normally a competent company I cannot understand why I found, and have to deal with this problem twice. With broad experience building and repairing houses and boats, I am not an amateur. Is it them, or is it me? Based on past positive Dewalt experiences I have to ask -- what am I doing wrong here? How the heck do I adjust this?

I have the pneumatic version of this nailer....not disappointed with this version. Lots of power to drive a 2.5inch finish nail. 15ga is great for holding power. Unfortunately Dewalt changed the angle of these nails, so I had to buy a whole new supply. $$$$ i didn't expect to spend. I'll use both nailers until the old nails are gone. I'm hooked on the 20v series of tools!
