This is one of the better light syncs Setup is fun , and easy , The first movie I tried with them was Kpop demon hunters , and it’ was sooo cool , worked flawlessly .

This item has very easy assembly, the lights are really cool, bright and easy to use, it has movie and sound settings that control the light-show on your phone. It fits my tv great. Definitely would recommend, it upgrades the movie experience. The whole family really enjoys it.

Very easy to install. Very hard to calibrate, calibration can only be done on a phone in vertical mode using about half the phone screen. With the fisheye effect from the camera, putting the points for the lower edges of the screen is near impossible because the top half of the screen roughly fills 80% of the calibration picture. If you have a bright living room (or whatever room you have your TV in), glare from the screen can be picked up from the camera making the lights turn on. The lights use the color red a bit too much in my opinion, when you have something like wood, skin or anything with a slight orange hue, the backlights are bright red. However I guess this is a "get what you pay for" product, and for it's price it does the job.

This is really cool. It makes you feel more like you’re in a theater and even when the TV is not on if this is still powered up then whatever other lights in the room that it picks up, it will project behind the TV. Very nice. I love it.

This light strip held up for about 5 months and the some of the lights stopped working and now the adhesive on the back of the light strip is starting to fail. We have the Govee in the other room and it's been installed for at least a year, with zero issues. If you are looking for a backlight that will hold up for a while, this one is not it. Save a little more money and buy a premium set.

My prior TV had a more basic light strip that plugged into the TV USB and had basis color capability. It came on and off with the TV. I bought a new 77' TV so I decided to upgrade my backlight too. I bought this one over more expensive equivalents from Govee. Overall, it gets the job done but you get what you pay for. I bought the largest one (75-85) since I have a 77" TV but I had a lot of leftover slack. I should have bought the mid-sized one (65-75). What I liked: It was easy to install and setup. I had it working in just 15 min. It works as advertised. The lights definitely add a fun extra dimension to TV viewing. The app was easy to install and mostly intuitive. It has a lot of nice features. For instance, it has different presets for different moods and many customizable features as well. You can control the brightness of it as well. Of course, it changes color with the screen. You can synchronize it with other Ailofy products as well. What I didn't like: No remote. You must use the app to turn it on or you need to turn it on from the mounted camera, which can be a real hassle if your TV is mounted to the wall. I don't think the plain white color blends well, you can see color fringes at the edges. I found the camera calibration to be very difficult on my iphone. You're better off using a large tablet for the calibration. Even after the calibration, it doesn't always seem to do a great job of matching the colors to the screen. It seems to default to red or pink quite frequently, even though there may be none on the screen. Also, I feel like the adhesive tape on the camera is a little TOO sticky. I tried to reposition the camera and I really thought I was going to damage the TV with the amount of force it took to remove it. An interesting note: I had a lot of difficulty getting the calibration to work. I finally discovered that even though the instructions say that the device and the phone must be on the same network, that's not exactly true: it must be on the same WiFi signal. The device only connects on a 2.4GHZ signal. My phone is connected to a 5GHZ signal. They are both on the same NETWORK, but that wasn't enough. I finally discovered that I had to connect my phone to the 2.4Ghz signal to get the calibration to work. I wish it had a way to synchronize with the TV on/off. I don't really want to pull my phone out every time I want to turn the backlight on. Overall I would says it's a good product that gets the job done on a budget, but I do wonder if I would have been better off buying the more expensive Govee. Still, it's going to make make movie nights at home a lot more fun! In the end, that's what counts, right?
