⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reliable, Easy to Use, and Works Like a Charm!
I’m really impressed with my Wildgame Innovations automatic timed deer feeder! It was simple to set up, and the timer works perfectly, releasing feed right on schedule every day. The build feels sturdy and weather-resistant, and it runs quietly — the deer caught on fast! I love how consistent and reliable it’s been, and it saves me so much time compared to manual feeding. Whether you’re managing a food plot or just enjoy watching wildlife, this feeder is well worth it. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a durable, hands-off feeder that actually does what it says!

Long. Long review.
This feeder is reasonably well built for the cost. I did get the solar panel and battery set up too. I did follow some of the suggestions in previous reviews. Before you get this feeder go get yourself some 1/4" x 1" bolts (20 pack is fine), some good nylon locking nuts for the bolts, strong roll of duct tape and a tube of outdoor rated clear silicone. Also, some fine grit sandpaper. The lid didn't fit very well due to shipping and cold, it was very warped. I put the lid on the top half so that it was on there as well as you can get. I then took all the leg boxes and a few weights an put them on top of the lid. This was enough compression to make it sit on it correctly. I then took a heat gun (hair dryer could also be used) and gave it a good warming up. I then let it sit for about 2 hours. Then I did it one more time for good measure. After the cool down period all warps were gone and the lid fit very nicely. On to the assembly. I roughed up the surface of where the barrel halves go together and wiped them down with an alcohol wipe. I then put a fairly good bead of silicone between the two halves of barrel and then tightened the bolts just enough so the silicone would squish a bit. Wait about 12 hours or so. Tighten the rest of the way. While you are waiting on the silicone to cure you can prep the legs. The legs are very loose fitting. What I did was put a couple small chunks of duct tape on the top of the leg that fits into the other leg. Probably over kill but I then duct taped the 2 legs together. Trust me this will come in handy at set up time. So directions say that you need 2 people to set this up. However, I didn't have anyone that could drive all the way out to our property when I wanted to set this up. I found no issues setting it up this way... I drive a bigger k2500 pickup. So I put the feeder on the tailgate and drove out to the spot I wanted to set this up. If you scoot the feeder close to the end of your tailgate, you can attach 2 of the legs in full sections (2 sections of 2). From there you can just grab the other full section of leg and at the same time grab the feeder right at where the leg fits into and pull towards you. It will slide and pivot on the 2 legs already on it giving you enough space to slide the last leg in and make it stand up. This thing is very tall. Way taller than it looks in pictures. Since the truck was right there I backed it up about 2 feet. I'm not the tallest person (5'8") and standing on the tailgate of my 2500 I still had to put the 50# bag of corn over my head and stand on my tip toes to load this thing up. I may end up taking off 1 post on each leg to make it easier to load. For now I am just going to leave it. If you get the solar panel, don't use the included attachment screws. Mark where you are going to put it and drill out the 2 holes with a 5/16" bit. Use the same bolts from earlier. Use the included rubber washer and put that on your bolt from the outside. Then put your nylon locking nut on the inside. This thing really slings the corn out there! I hit the test button and walked about 20 yards away to go check the game cam and I was totally being pelted with corn. It is pretty loud and will probably make any critter run off. Set the feeding times for when you know there will be nothing around. I will update this review in 6 months with how good this stands up to a North Dakota winter with blizzards and high winds. So far, so good. This could change.

Good value and reliable feeder
I now have 1 of these feeders at my each of my 3 deer stands. The first one is about 4 years in use, 2nd one is on it's 2nd year, and now the newest one is in its 1st season. I have never had any issues. Easy to set up, easy to program, and always spread the corn.

All right price and works but needs new battery display
Good feeder and as long as you put Vaseline on the legs. The Vaseline keeps the racoons and squirrels off and from opening battery box.easy set up and easy to fill. Wish the made a better lid. Squirrels chewed hole in the lid. Used flex seal to seal up. Also battery display sucks! Thought I had a bad battery and recharged but charger said full. Tried new battery and still only shows half full.

Setting up was a chore, did not stand up to the creatures in the woods
Additional information after having in the woods for 18 months. This unit did not last. Between hogs, raccoons, and squirrels, this plastic feeder got torn apart. The last straw is that one of the legs punched through the barrel, causing it to lean way over and spill out all the corn. Upon fully emptying the barrel I noted that there was another leg about to punch through also. There were chew marks on the lid right where the lid latches to the barrel, so I would assume that given enough time some creature would have gotten all the way through. The controller box was also pretty badly scratched up by claws, all the hinges were broken off, and the screws that attach the controller box to the barrel had started to back out. If all you have in your area is deer, this unit will work just fine. If you have anything else, they will eventually tear it up and it will need to be replaced. Original review: Set up this feeder for hunting, and the hogs found it pretty quickly. The biggest struggle really was setting this thing up. the legs don't secure to anything and just slide into pockets. They slide out as quickly as they slide in, so you definitely need 4 hands or more to get this set up. I was worried that this was going to be tippy, especially with 200 Lbs of corn in it. As you can see from the pictures, though, it has stood for 5 months with hog and deer (and raccoon, and squirrels) visiting every night and its still standing solidly. The timer works fine and allows for many feeding configurations (4 feed times and 4 different feed durations). The battery is not included and needs to be purchased separately for the whole system to work. Additionally unless you have easy access to the feeder to switch out batteries, you will need to add a solar maintainer. Once I added the solar plate, the battery has never run out. I did have to modify the battery box for the solar maintainer. Perhaps the manufacturer could include a punch-out to accommodate external wiring for a solar power supply. The battery, wires for the maintainer, and the regular leads for the timer are a tight fit in the battery box, but it does all fit. The feed container lid snaps shut but does not lock down, so if you get some clever woodland creatures that can get on top of the feed container, they may be able to pry the lid off. All in all, though, I am happy with what I have for the price I paid.

Assembly was easy I haven't had the chance to put it at my hunting spot yet but it sure seems to be doing the job. I plugged in a batery and was able to test it out, works great and the timer setup is not intuitive but still very easy to setup once you play with it. To my sruprise the system is far higher than what I thought at least from what the picture shows but it's a nice surprise. I bought the Moultrie Solar panel and will see how this works out. Edit** I've put it at my hubting spot with corn in it I can say it throws the corn quite far. I needed to remove a few legs extension in order to have corn not thrown 20' on each sides. I assume it would be perfect in an open field my spot is kind of small with lot of bushes. It will still do the job wonderfully

Had the feeder for a year now, for the most part it has been a decent feeder. Feeder assembles very easily and is quick to complete. The overall height of the feeder is good, and feed dispersal provides a large arc around the unit, programmed timer works as it should, with no issues. The one draw back on this units is the 4 plastic legs which support the spinner/battery box, these are made of plastic and 2 of the 4 have cracked through. Currently I have mine 'wired up" to hold it in place, which works but is not ideal. This plastic bracket should really be made out of stamped metal which would provide greater support to the suspended load. For this reason I rate it between 3-4 stars unfortunately, if it wasn't for this issue it would be a deservable 5 out of 5. Update, fixed the issue with a couple stainless bolts and nuts. Again the root of the problem is the plastic that the controller and battery are housed. If this were made of metal the rating would be much different, unfortunately to save a buck they opted out for plastic, which just doesn't stand up to the use.
