Too high a dosage. In researching item the recommended dose is between 75-200 mg. Unfortunately, after 10 days of this dosage I cannot confirm that this may have caused me to wind up in the ER with an epileptic seizure. However, my neurologist recommended that I stop taking this supplement. I am a healthy 73 yr. old male and go to the gym twice day 5 days a week.

Like most things bulk supplements, this is a good quality supplement. My only real beef with it, and I didn't notice this when I ordered, was that one pill is 500 mg. This is a pretty high dose in my unlearned opinion. I open the capsule and split the pill so I am getting something like 500 mg every two days (no idea what the split is, probably 60/40). I have only been taking a week with no noticed benefits, but it may just take time to see.Couple of things to be aware of... do see a dr before taking this. It seems if you have any heart issues this will exacerbate them. Also, several sites recommend you cycle this on something like a 4 week on 1 week off cycle. Not sure why but it is good hygiene for all supplements so do that with this one as well.
