Q: Will this work with roofing nails or are the heads too large?

Roofing nails have a little bit bigger head than what you can insert into the nailer. The nailer works great, drove 3 1/2 inch nails into 2x4's with ease. Also had to hook the nailer up to 150 feet of 1/2 air hose to reach the area where I needed to use it, still had no problem driving nails.

Q: The box says "Adjustable depth setting" . I see no adjustment setting. Does anyone have any idea on that?

Other then turning down the psi on your compressor, I'm not sure if the nailer has an adjustment on it. I was driving in 3 1/2 nails with no problem and have had no reason to adjust it.
