I’ll be honest - I didn’t really expect too much out of these, but I figured as a quick and easy party favor at about a buck a pop, they’d be ok. I had to try one when I got them. I wasn’t sure at first I was breaking the water sac inside, but eventually I heard the bubbling up that the reaction was occurring. It took about 30 seconds or so before it got big enough for me to try, but I think I didn’t quite break the sac fully, and I could have left it a bit to get even more inflated. Then I went outside and gave it a good squeeze, and BOOM - a surprisingly good confetti shower. And it consisted of streamers that actually shot a good distance, and a bunch of square confetti bits that opened up into a nice bloom of confetti. AND, all the liquid and other ingredients stay in side the mylar gun, so the only mess to clean up is the dry confetti (definitely suggest this be used outside, but given what comes out, it wouldn’t be too bad to use inside either). I will say, I wouldn’t use these for a kids party, as you need to give it a really good squeeze to get maximal effect, and I don’t think younger kids would be able to do that. Beyond that, I greatly look forward to using this at New Years!

These were a hit at my son's party recently. They are easy to use and confetti got everywhere. Easy enough to vacuum up after we were done but they really enjoying making them pop and making a big mess. The confetti pieces are big enough to be able to clean them all up without an issue and really made the kids happy. Would be great for a kids new years party as well. Simple yet entertaining.

these are very underwhelming...there is barely any confetti in them and they kind of just unfold not pop.
