Very low quality product
In less than a year the plastic began to be ruined giving an old and worn appearance, this is the most expensive version of this style of headlights and still stinks it's a shame, I don't recommend it.

Buy these - but READ THIS FIRST
First of all, I absolutely love these lights and are a well-built, solid lighting upgrade for an FJ Cruiser. Wiring is truly plug-and-play (with an exception, but I'll get there), and fit-and-finish is on-par with OEM. The projectors are worlds beyond the stock halogens. NOTE: Check the polarity at the headlight H4 Plug using a DMM. Looking at the plug, probe the right slot (common) and the top/center slot (low beam). If the meter shows +12v, you're good to go. However, if the meter shows -12v, the projectors will not function without additional components. This is where I'm sitting, at the moment. I have ordered a couple of different styles of "H4 polarity converters" that I plan on testing to see if that resolves the problem. I expect it will, as the headlights worked perfectly when I bench-tested them off-vehicle, which was wired for conventional positive polarity. I will update this review with more specifics, either way. More importantly, I also wanted to give huge ups to Spec-D support folks. When I contacted them about the issue, they were very receptive, super responsive, and genuinely interested in the issue and resolving the problem. Thank you guys!! UPDATE: The H4 polarity converter(s) worked beautifully. They can be found here for ~$20/pair. If you have an FJ cruiser with negative switched headlights, you'll need them for these headlights to function correctly. Bonus: the converters also resolved the "inop high-beam indicator" that usually happens with LED upgrades from stock halogen bulbs. IMHO, the extra $20 is worth every penny for an otherwise fantastic upgrade. I'm not certain it's specific but, for reference, I have a 2010 FJ Base with no DRLs.

Buyer beware
These are in my FJ and it's only driven 3-4 times a week. I installed November 2023 and they are melting the outside lens.

Lights look great but lens start to melt over time
This lens was hot to the touch and over time the lens develop a melted spot, I tried contacting seller early on and they don't respond.

Wicked looking and work well (apart from
a very weak headlight beam). Niggles are that they lack a park light, are not plug & play and not polarity neutral. The high/low switching is the opposite to Toyota polarity (necessitating additional wiring and a relay). No park light makes it illegal here in NZ so additional park lights had to be bought and installed. All up extra cost for auto electrician and parts more than doubled the combined shipping and purchase price including shipping. But they sure do look cool. Hence the 3 stars despite considerable issues.

Unexpected quality. Although return is allowed but will charge 20% restocking fee, seems not really fair.
