I will begin at the beginning.....I was looking for something less bulky than a big sprawling armchair for the bedroom. For me, the delivery time was excellent (under 48 hours)...The chair arrived well protected in polythene & cardboard. The four wooden legs needed screwing in by hand, which was simple to do (those with arthritic hands may need some help). While being a handsome looking piece of furniture, the chair has a pleasingly robust feel - the upholstery feels strong, while the back & underseat support is firm but comfortable, as is the seat cushion - good value I reckon.For those who enjoy leaning on their elbows with the hand against the face - the wing back that wraps around may make this rather more awkward, but the chair does encourage a better posture. Now my favourite way to watch the box is to wedge the included scatter cushion down my side - put my feet up and.....BLISS!!!

Even during the sales, it's astounding what high street shops expect you to pay for their furniture, plus the amount of time you're left waiting until it's delivered. So this turned out to be very nice for the price and delivered within a couple working days of ordering it (although the courier did not make contact ahead of time to confirm a delivery date or time slot).I've seen another review for the same chair in different fabric which complains about its size. The back of the chair could do with being a tad higher: it's not the kind of chair you can sit back and relax in. So yes, older or wider people might find it uncomfortable. It looks good though and with a foot stool is perfect for reading.The fabric seems good quality. The seat cushion cannot be flipped over if it wears out, but there is a zipper at the back for replacing the filling when the time comes. None of the chair legs were pristine, each had a small knock or scratch. I may end up buying new legs anyway to lift it a couple more inches off the floor.

The chairs are fine, very comfortable. I wish I could say the same about delivery. The package of two chairs on a pallet was left in the road outside the house. That was as far as the delivery man was prepared to take them. Fortunately between us my wife and I were able to get the chairs into the house, but we were left with a large pile of plastic packaging and a pallet. I would suggest that anyone ordering large items checks to see what the delivery terms are.

This purchase was to replace an existing arm chair. It was delivered promptly, which was important since the original had gone to the tip. Its size is ideal for our home and it is well made. Yes, very pleased. Thank you

I treated my self to this chair. It's very comfortable & compact. It fits the space beautifully. Arrived 2 days after ordering, well packaged. only thing was we had to take packaging off to get it inside the front door but that wasn't problem.

This was easy to order first class service next day delivery packed well then I opened it and what a fantastic chair so pleased very comfortable this is what I call a ladies chair it is just the size I wanted and is firm to sit in

I bought this one and the duck egg blue chenille for a tenant. I like them so much I am thinking about buying some for my house. They are very firm and comfy to sit in and am sure they will get even better with use. Very nice quality. The scatter cushions are lovely too

Arrived within 24 hours as stated. Great chair, well made and exactly what we expected. The colours are even nicer than the photograph.
