Bow Wow Labs Original Bow Wow Buddy Safety Device | Bully Stick Holder for Dogs (L)

I have only used this twice as the first time the stick came loose so was reluctant to use it again. The second time I tightened it much more and it held though I wasn't sure it would as the little spikes in the centre damaged after just one use. Hopwfully it will continue to hold but for the price I expected to last a little longer than the first use.

Does not account for oddly shaped bully stick to fit. Tighten too hard and plastic teeth wear down

Works great and it make bully stick safe, But to make sure that the stick doesnt move or risk to be pulled out you have to tight the screw pretty hard wich flattened the little plastic teeth. It still holds tight but it makes me question about durability. Overall I still recommend but I should have bought a larger one as the green one wont be useful for a long time because larger sticks dont fit in it... good for our 3 months old 30pd bernese puppy

I bought two sizes of these after seeing them on a popular Golden Retriever Youtube channel. Super easy to use and sturdy. Just slip the bullstick into the opening and screw it in tight and no more worrying about your dog accidentally swallowing the stick when it gets too small. I've found it also slows down over-eager chewing as well. In the photo, my 10 week old Golden (currently 16lbs) is using the medium sized Holder. Wish these had been around for my previous dogs, as they love these bully sticks so much and it was always a stress factor for me watching closely and worrying about them swallowing the final stick ends. Also - nice that there is no weird plastic smell to the holders either, as is sometimes found with other toys/brands. Super happy with this purchase! Highly recommended!

Dogs love to chew

Used to give my pup long chewsticks w times on them so I knew about how long it took to get to the end, but as soon as she saw me heading to her, she'd wolf them down quickly so I couldn't get it. I started strategizing how I'd approach her pretending I wasn't going to bother her then lunge for the stick to remove it forcefully from her mouth. Yes I could also just tell her NO, but it's a treat for Heaven's sake! It shouldn't come w negativity! So thought I'd try this.At first she wasn't interested in the "new" device that was "in her way". But soon, like 1 day ha!, she gave it a go. Now it's a staple.So far it has mostly kept the last bit of my pup's chew sticks intact. Some sticks clamp easier and more securely than others. You can tell when u tighten it. For those that tend to wiggle and know they can eventually be pulled out, I drill a small hole at the end & screw down into that. Works fine. I've also cut away parts of the end of very large sticks to make them fit. Holds them fine.I have an extremely aggressive chewer. She will also start chewing the holder itself, and carries it around like a bone hoping to get that last piece out, which helps me have time to get it and remove the piece and toss it!So far I love it, no more monitoring her chewing as closely. I still do, just not as closely and it gives me time to get it at my convenience and toss the last piece out. Probably about 90% effective and that works great for me! So much better than b4! Had it about 2 weeks. Holding up good so far with just some bite marks on the outside. : )
