I got this ages ago and I don't remember much buts it's tozer so it would have been excellent

Why aren't we taught this in every church in the land. A W Tozer can really help us begin to learn how to see more clearly how we should worship and reverence the Majesty on high and His only begotten Son at His right hand through His word being led by the Holy Spirit. If you are yearning for a deeper walk with God this is a great help. I think we should all look back a learn from the great saints back through the ages. Men and women of proven character and see how they looked to and sought God with proper reverence and worship of who He is- the Great I Am.

Tozer opens with stating that what comes to mind when we think about God is the most important thing about us. It then goes on to expound and magnify the attributes of the Holiness of God - to better and deepen what does and will come to mind when we think about God now and in the future.It brings exceptional levels of insight into the personhood of God and starts to plumb the depths of who He is.This book is entirely about God - and yet its relevance for our day to day lives and who we are in Him cannot be understated.It continues to have a profound influence upon my thinking about who God is and who I am in God and its influence upon my relationship with God has been significant. It is the sort of book that has the potential to change you. So be warned!

For those who profess the Christian faith this will lead to a deeper walk with God which is illustrated by the author's remarkable grasp of the attributes of God. I personally will read this book again and again to try and come closer to this amazing God who has given us so much.

Such a beautiful, profound little book. I've been reading a chapter a day as a devotional, and it's been a fabulous journey into the mystery of God. Where Packer's Knowing God is food primarily for the mind (nothing wrong with that!), this is food primarily for the soul. Read it slowly and bask in God.

This book is sumptuous. A study into the attributes of God, its short chapters do require frequent reading, real concentration and a willingness to be lifted intio a new realm of insight and understanding. This book transcends denomination and culture, here is truth, distilled and delightful. Here are insights to amaze, humble and astonish. Tozer at the end of his life and a man who has left the best to last. Let 'Knowledge of the Holy' become a companion on the dusty road of the Christian life and be thankful that Tozer was able to write such a guide for all who still seek the 'spiritual path less travelled'.

The Knowledge Of The Holy was recommended to me 11 years ago . Every page had knowledge I wanted to remember and digest for all time. I have read many new and modern Christian books but none inspires me as much as AW Tozer. It is great to have The Knowledge Of The Holy on my iPad . I am hoping to get the app for my mobile phone and have Tozer with me at all times.Great book for seekers , students and well seasoned preachers and teachers.

If you think you know God - eternity is going to be too short to plumb the depths of God. So if the angels gaze on Him and are constantly crying Holy Holy Holy LORD God Almighty who was and is and is come. I don't think they are bored as they gaze upon the LORD God Almighty, just makes you want to be with them and gaze upon what they are transfixed with, the God in Three Persons - Blessed Trinity.

If you enjoy intellectual discourses full of simple truth of God as I do, you will love this book!Everything He writes it great foundational knowledge, upon which we can build the rest of our faith.

No es una lectura sencilla y requeire paciencia y en ocasiones releer algunos párrafos, pero vale mucho la pena.

This is not an easy book to read, by virtue of its depth. I can only read a paragraph or two and then must put it aside to 'meditate' and pray on. But it is worth taking the time. You will end up with a greater 'knowledge of the holy' than you have ever known, leading to an even deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father. This is a classic that must never go out of print. We - God's people of every generation need to know Him as deeply as this book takes us.
