Schmincke Horadam Artists' Watercolour - SAA 30th Anniversary Half Pan Set of 12 plus 3 free

The 'special edition' 30th Anniversary SAA watercolor set has 12 good mixing colors in half pans + 3 extra colors (May Green, Gold, and Transparent Orange) in half pans. (A basic set or range of the same 12 colors is available in many other Schmincke sets of 1/2 pans or full pans; and it would be pretty simple to order 3 additional individual colors to replicate this set, if it sells out). I was able to order a set for about $60, which worked out to be about $4 per half pan, plus a "free" tin. It seemed like a good price for this particular German brand which is hard to find locally. There was no special marking on the watercolor tin I received, just the normal Schmincke logo. The paper label around the tin specifies that it is an SAA 30th Anniversary set. It is great quality paint which is a pleasure to paint with.

Best deal on great professional quality paint. It is smooth and velvety watercolor. Perfectly translucent and delicate. Do not hesitate. It's s great deal from a good vendor worth great service.

This watercolour set is excellent with good colours, professional quality, and good price. The paint is easy to reactivate. The pallet size is perfect to work at home or travel too. My only complaint is about the tray where the pans are attached. The Schmincke company could improve this design, so more pans could be attached/added in the central space between the pans.
