Botan Ame Rice Candy 0.75 OZ (Pack of 2)

Bought a sample of these premium priced Botan Ame Rice Candies to determine if they are the same as given to me as a child in early 1960's from a neighbor WWII internment Japanese family - yes, they're the same delicious rice candy! Paid a premium here of $7.37 for 1.50 ounce as a trial purchase, that's $4.92 per oz and upwards of $78.72 per pound! WOW, won't "drop the soap" again! Found other prices on Amazon for a reasonable $0.72 per oz, or $11.52 per lb when buying in 20 pack lots. So, shop around and don't get fleeced. Mark V.

Quality was good, soft and texture just right. Used it for a classroom project to introduce the students to candy from other countries

I've been wanting to try this candy for awhile and I wasn't disappointed! Great flavor, texture! I especially enjoy the rice wrapper around it. Reminds you of a thin plastic but it melts in your mouth. Only complaint is the boxes are SO TINY. 😆

I’ve been having these since I was a kid and I was so disappointed when i received them and they were harder than a rock! I also was upset that I couldn’t get a refund!!!!
