Great little device - until dropped into the toilet
I'd really been enjoying wearing this great little, easy to use pedometer. To be fair, it took a little while to set up because I just didn't 'get it' on how to do so. However, once I did, it set up well and I've been wearing it on a daily basis. I actually wore it alongside a free NHS one that was given to me as part of my pre-diabetes group stuff and it demonstrated just how useless the NHS one is. (Please NHS, don't waste your money on these things - just tell us to get one!) All was going well until.........yep, you've probably guessed from the title - I dropped it down the toilet. (It was clipped to my belt and alas, was pulled off. It just wasn't the same with toilet water sloshing around inside the screen...... So, here am I ordering another plus ANOTHER for my husband who has been equally impressed with it.

Simple but effective
Very easy to use, set and forget really. My partner wears an apple watch and we tested it on a day out together and the numbers were in sync enough for me to feel confident in my cheaper alternative. I literally only want steps as I log them on an app myself. I wear leggings a lot and found it nearly fell off when getting up and down from my desk at work due to the nature of legging waistbands, so now I clip it in the middle of my bra. Dont even notice it theough the day, reminds me to log my steps every night and its on my dressing table so I remember to pop it in again every morning. My small complaint is that you cant turn it off to conserve battery life plus the screen resets to show the time so I have to toggle to the steps, I know, first world problems, lol. All in all, Im very pleased with my purchase. For a few pounds its doing what I need.

Good as a step-counter
For only use as a step-counter. Very good by stopping 'fake steps' - as moving in a chair or a not-walking movement.

Step count accuracy appears to diminish over time - perhaps reflecting residual battery life?
I have used one of these for the better part of a decade and it is still operational. There is however a curious (possible) anomaly I've experienced which is: a tendency for steps to be under-counted appears over time; in other words it does not count anything like the number of steps for an established route you know you have walked days/weeks/months before where previously it counted in excess of the current / latest number of steps.I now conjecture that this may not necessarily be due to e.g. mechanical wear but to the effect of residual battery power, although one might alternatively have expected it to stop working completely once low power status prevailed. When I was reviewing button batteries for sale the other day I noted in one advertisement it said battery retained power for up to 3 years in storage. It occurs to me that if the battery installed is not absolutely "fresh", diminished accuracy may result, so militating against buying multipacks of batteries. In fact I note that the last battery (from a 2 battery blister pack) was installed in May 2024 and the step count became noticably low around February 2025.My tentative conclusion only; ymmv.

DOES NOT WORK - IMPOSSIBLE TO SET
Arrived on time adequately packed. Followed setting instructions, only the clock setting worked, tried over and over again and couldn't understand what I was doing wrong as they were simple enough . . . eventually after a few days of occasionally trying again, removing and replacing battery, and I realised the clock was the only setting that is going to work. This keeps perfect time, but the step-counter and other functions I bought it for does not work at all so for me it is completely useless. I have had similar problems with others I have bought to replace the excellent older Omron which was destroyed in the washing machine after working fine for about 4 years! Disappointing.

Love it!
It's a great product. Clip it on my waist and off I go. Gets me walking a lot more and easier to count steps than carrying your phone. Quite accurate. Set up was easy. The clip keeps it stable I forget I'm wearing it.

Good in every way BUT not accuracy
Once set up properly, Easy to use.Nice big digital display figures.Prompt delivery... UNFORTUNATELY...distance walked readings highly inaccurate.Used it over a previously accurately confirmed distance of 2 miles.Out of several runs, it gave readings as 0.4 mile, 0.8 mile, 1.2 mile, 1.4 mile, 0.9 mile and so on.Just to be double sure, after wearing it at middle of waist, tried it in other positions. Still readings hugely inaccurate.
