Fantastic product, easy install and great quality
My family stayed at a great Air BnB house and in the kids' bedrooms they had these led lights under the beds. My kids loved that they could change the colors and brightness and felt safer knowing they had essentially a built in night light. So, I checked Amazon and found these light strips for an absolutely amazing price. I ordered them and they were delivered to our front door before we even got home from our vacation. These lights come in a small package but have great features. We were able to use one set for my daughter's queen size bed and the other on my son's bunk bed. For my daughter, the light strip was long enough to wrap around the inside of the bed frame on both sides and the foot of the bed. For my son, the light strip wrapped all the way around the inner part of the bed frame in between his top and bottom bunks. I placed the motion sensor on the wall next to the side of the bed my daughter sleeps on. For my son, I put the motion sensor attached to his bed frame near the floor and facing towards his bedroom door. I also set the timer to the shortest duration for both which is about 30 seconds of illumination. The lights plug into a USB outlet plug that comes with each kit. You then mount the motion sensor with the supplied double sided adhesive facing the direction you want it looking. I recommend laying it all out before sticking it in place so you are sure you have enough to reach your closest power outlet and put the motion sensor in an inconspicuous but visible place. The lights themselves come on a small spool with adhesive backing attached to the light strip. Then, as you're sticking the light strip to the desired surface, slowly remove the paper covering the adhesive backing in sections so that the lights don't get stuck to each other and you can get each section positioned correctly before moving to the next. The light strip has no issue curving around corners or bumps and bends in the surface you're sticking them to.To operate the lights you use a phone app that let's you turn the lights on and off, change the mode (steady light, flashing, fade in and out, strobe multiple colors), change colors, brightness, and it even has a setting where the lights can pulse to the beat of music playing on your phone. My daughter has her lights set to pink and my son's are an aqua color. They light up when you walk in their room or put your feet on the floor when getting out of bed. Then the lights turn off about 30 seconds later. You can modify the length of time that the lights stay on after sensing motion. My nephews came over and thought the lights in my kids' rooms were amazing. I've already ordered several more sets to give as Christmas gifts to our nieces and nephews. If I have any gripe, I'd like a light/dark sensor so the lights only come on when the room is dark, not whenever they sense motion regardless of ambient light in the room. Really though, this is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon and I've purchased thousands of things from Amazon. I can't really believe the features and quality you get for the price of these things. They seem like a product that should be much more expensive, but I'm definitely not complaining. If you're considering buying these, I wouldn't hesitate for even a moment further. These things are cool, add a level of safety and comfort to my kids' rooms, and the install was less than 5 minutes.

Very effective automatic lighting
Motion detection is very good. The 120° angle is more than sufficient for most cases. I have two sets of lights, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom.Kitchen: Mounted under the cabinet provides plenty of light for a lot of activities. Sensor detects motion as soon as I enter & turns off a minute or so after I leave. Very rarely, I would be standing in an 'edge' location and the lights would go off but if I moved a bit they would come back on.Bedroom: After much trial & error, I found the ideal sensor location was at the foot of the bed, facing the door. When the sensor was on the headboard, facing towards the door, not only did it detect when I got out of bed, but the sheet hanging over the edge, or even my oxygen hose, would trigger the lights throughout the night. In addition, the sensor was able to pick up motion in the hallway 15' away. The lights are bright and fairly directional, almost too bright to look at directly without seeing spots afterwards. For this reason, mount them pointing down and below eye level. However, when mounted on the bottom of a bed frame they are susceptible to possible damage or loosening when moving boxes or other items stored under the bed. Instead, I mounted the strip lights on the inside edge of the frame. Now, the underside of the bed is fully illuminated yet still provides enough light on the outsides walk areas. The 'glue' on the back of the strip lights is typical one-time use. Decide the location beforehand, clean the surfaces, then affix the strips. There is sufficient adhesion to keep it applied under normal circumstances but it is still fairly easy to remove. The sensor consists of a snap-on mounting base with a small, yet powerful, magnet embedded in the back. Surprisingly, it maintained position pretty well using just the magnet. There is also an adhesive tape on the back of the sensor. This tape has EXTREMELY strong adhesive properties. I put it on a tile on the kitchen backsplash and it pretty much took a hammer & chisel to remove it! Unfortunately, it is also one-time use so choose the location carefully! The LED lights and sensor are integrated together. It would be nice if the sensor could be connected to different light sets. But for the value, this can't be beat!

Bright light, but does what it states.
This does exactly what it looks like. It has different timer settings and the sensor works perfectly for walking into the room or getting up at night.Having a dimmer would be great. I used black electrical tape and just blocked some lights to make it work. The adhesive sticks just fine and I have a power strip under the bed so the cord length wasn't an issue.

Work as advertised
I ordered two of these to put under the bed. When I get up in the middle of the night, the path to the bathroom is neatly lit. The downside is these are extremely bright. I trimmed them to a much shorter size and used an El Marco to dim the bulbs that remained. They install very easily with super strong glue. The sensor unit, however, does not have sticky so you’ll have to find some double stick tape. They’re perfect now.
