Princeton Review PSAT/NMSQT Prep, 2023-2024: 2 Practice Tests + Review + Online Tools for the NEW Digital PSAT (2023) (College Test Preparation)

I ordered this book for each of my two high schoolers to use a couple months before the PSAT, and they thought it was great! They appreciated the straightforward approach to teaching concepts, the plentiful practice problems, and the online and in-book practice tests, and felt that this book helped them make good scores on the test. They thought it was more helpful than the online Kaplan PSAT prep course and the Kaplan Digital SAT On Demand Prep course, both of which they completed.

Used this to prep for the test. Now he is a national merit semifinalist.

Son used it to study for the 11th grade Fall PSAT. Helped him achieve a very significant score.

Test preparation will not take you from weakness to strength on these skills, but it will help you learn how to test works, understand how the test will try to get the best of you. I have used test prep materials with students for the PSAT, ACT, SAT. And have used them for myself for the GRE. Princeton Review is far away the best source for helpful hints, and meaningful practice.

My daughter will take the 2023 PSAT/NMSQT, which will be administered digitally for the first time, so I've been searching for an appropriate study book. Unfortunately there are very few study books that have been updated for the Digital PSAT (or Digital SAT). I've purchased pretty much all available. This book is the best of that lot.This book's two practice tests have been completely updated for the Digital PSAT, including having both easy and difficult second modules. I've compared them against the one Digital PSAT practice exam now available from the College Board, and they are very similar. All other books' practice tests are lower fidelity.The review chapters of this book have also been completely updated for the Digital PSAT; one other book's review chapters haven't been been updated at all (the Reading-Writing part of the Digital PSAT is much different from before).The major minus of this book is that, despite what the book says, a digital testing app that contains this book's updated practice tests in digital form is not yet available, so you'll need to take them using paper. I guess you can utilize the College Board's free practice test app to simulate that aspect of the Digital PSAT.13Aug2023 Edit - The Princeton Review's Digital Testing App is now available. I tried it, it simulates the College Board's very well. Now giving this book 5 stars.

Good study guide

The book does a good job of instructing students on how to learn to take the test vs. learning content. The book comes with ample practice exams that have answers and explanations which walk through why each answer choice is correct and wrong which is more helpful than just plain answers.
