Good deal.

Lurtz, the jerk that ended my favorite character, looks fantastic and the modeling is spot on. Very sinister snarl and the darker shade of red sets him apart from other Uruk-Hai. Only wish his bow string was looser to allow his arm to cock back more realistically but besides that his articulation is great and his accessories fit in well. He has a black sword, shield, arrows, and a dagger to go along with the bow.

Very cool figure of Lurtz. Articulation could be a little better but not unexpected in this line of figures.

These are designed to be looked at. If you try to take it out and use it, it will break.

As usual for this line of figures, the sculpt is top notch. Amazing job. Paint job is excellent as well. Comes with fantastic accessories and an extra head (slightly different facial expression). And the packaging evokes the mood of the films. So......why only 3 of 5 stars?Because I'm fed up with Diamond Select not improving the hands/accessory problems. In the case of Lurtz... The left hand is so rigid I could not even pry it open enough to hold either the shield or the bow. After an hour of failure, I ran the left hand under hot running water (took two attempts). Finally got the bow into his hands. So much trouble I doubt I will ever bother to switch out the bow for the shield...Also, It comes with three loose arrows and a satchel. The arrows fall out of the satchel every time I touch it. And the satchel strap is terrible. It's too short to fit under either arm (arrows get in the way). And the way it's molded it doesn't really work on either shoulder. The box image does not include any accessories--now I know why. Too much work and it doesn't look right.This COULD be one of the greatest action figure lines of all time. But Diamond Select keeps designing them as if they are to remain in their boxes forever. They simply must start improving the sculpts to better accommodate the accessories.
