Aquarium Light 26W

I use these extensively for my snake vivariums and they are perfect! I tend to use self tapping screws in to the roof, and they are light enough to be easily supported. They are very bright at 100%, and the spectrum of colour is entirely configurable.For someone buying these without prior experience read the manual, the setup is straightforward once you understand it, but not necessarily particularly intuitive if you wing it. Very little heat seems to be produced after 12 hours of running. The customisable timed modes are excellent at simulating a true day/night cycle and help my snakes keep their rhythm. My smaller previous version lasted the entire life of the vivarium, and I have no doubt the 4ft version will as well.I dare say these are perfect for amphibians and aquatics as well (probably designed for aquatics actually). I suppose if I was forced to think of a downside that would be that the control panel can’t be turned off, and so is lit by fairly bright white light all the time. Not really an issue though!

This sturdy quality light has transformed the look of my aquarium to no end. With various colour lighting options, adjustable size, and a timer, this has everything I require in a light. The fish, the plants, and the scenery all look so much better, and pop in colour now. People have asked if I have a new tank it has made such an aesthetic improvement and impact. It very easily wipes clean, and is totally waterproof. Highly recommended.

Bought this light for my new 45L fish tank (50x30x30cm) as I wanted something with a full light spectrum that could be programmed with different intensities of light at different times of day. Total cost to me was £30.39 (sale price).This product ticks all the major boxes for me. I can programme my own schedule with 8 different light intensities (including off during the night), and the light at 100% is plenty bright, so much so that I don't actually use it at 100%.I didn't realise that the light is only elevated by about 1cm off the frame of the tank, but it is shown in the product images. I just didn't pay attention.The controller feels quite cheap. Definitely usable, but the buttons feel mushy and can sometimes take a bit of force to depress. LCD screen has poor viewing angles, and pushing the buttons also puts some pressure on the screen which causes distorts and ripples which add to the cheap feel, but ultimately doesn't impact on the usability.The light feels solidly built. Aluminium alloy body, brackets feel stable. No complaints there. Some people have complained of condensation in the light, but I can't comment on that since I have a transparent polycarbonate lid on my tank which the light sits on top of.Overall happy with my purchase.

Once set up it's really good light but the button on my controller sometimes didn't work i had to keep pressing then and try them from the edge

Worked for about 6 weeks then suffered water ingress issues. Slowly started to lose led lights and after about 6 months stopped working altogether. No way to contact seller and Amazon no help either. I would avoid and buy from a reputable aquarium store instead.Don't be fooled by 100% rating over past 12 months as that is not accurate if you look at just a few reviews.

If you follow the instructions it's quite easy to setup the times you require.Good light for the money.

Good enough light, I like the way it can be set up. My issue is that it not waterproof, pic's will show this. I would be worried about condensation causing problems, my tank has sliding glass so this might prevent too much condensation
