KEENWomen's Clearwater CNX Sandal

Plumped for these after a lot of research and couldn’t be happier, especially with the discounted price in Prime Week. Solid, quality construction, immediately comfortable (no need for breaking in), sizing is spot on and suitable for a wider foot.

First up, I've only had these a couple of weeks so I will edit the review if they subsequently fall apart. That said......these are the most comfortable sandals I've owned! I've used them regularly over the past couple of weeks going out for our 'lockdown walks'. One of these walks was over 7 miles and all with no problems. So comfortable, no blisters and still allowing my feet to breath.What I particularly like is when walking through undulating terrains, such as woodland trails, is that the sole gives real protection to the underside of my foot. Not always the case with sandals.I don't know if the cost is too high for a pair of sandals but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I like these sandals for the good ventilation from open sides and toe protection from the rubber tips. Good for general purpose walking along trails or in water. Good fit and light weight.

Been wearing Keen sandles for over a decade. Still wearing an old pair of faithfuls that are about 8 years old and still going! I would say the quality is still apparent, some companies when successful take the piss and find more profit by reducing the quality, Keen didn’t take that route! On the sizing, for me I went a 1/2 size up, which is snug. I did try one size up and they we to loose and would have rubbed. From experience, the snug (not tight) sandles will give in no time and fit like a glove like the others for years to come!

I have had several pairs of these sandals and walked many miles in them. They are undoubtedly the most comfortable footwer ever. They are tight fitting initially but once "broken in" (very quickly) they fit beautifully. Hard wearing as well. Very pleased.

Tried this type of shoe in the past. Not good. However this pair are great. Did not need to break them in much. Used them on a recent holiday.

I’ve looked at these sandals for a good while and seen them in use in several countries on expeditions. They are well made and very comfortable. I went by the European Size on all of my other footwear and they fit perfectly. The main thing that I like, is that they have a protected toe area, useful for wading rivers that might have hidden obstacles (I had a client in Morocco who got a piece of steel wire stuck in his big toe when crossing a river in the mountains). At this price, a must have outdoor item...

Smaller than I'd expect - okay once they're on, but it's a bit of a wrestling match to get them there as the back heel strap isn't adjustable. That said, they're seemingly well-made and Keen are pretty much the only folks who do closed-toe sandals now, so there's not a huge choice. Think of them as well-ventilated trainers rather than sandals, though, and you've got the right idea.
