Bit of stretch which is what I needed but wasn't able to tie a knot as knot wouldn't tighten without glue, very strong didn't snap!

knots too big
it was my mistake. I am threading 4mm beads. It would been much better to order .5 mm elastic and double thread the beads, much easier to hide the knot. If you're working with larger beads, the 1 mm thread is fine.
