Impressive
So far, so good.20 days in: I've had some time to listen to them, once they've been used for long enough, they become almost amazing. I'm actually pretty surprised. As of today, and listening to them for quite some time, the drivers have had time to play out for a while, they usually sound better after playing music in them for some time. I feel like the sound signature has improved, the drivers feel more natural and after trying different eartips, I think I have found the sweet spot neutral response that I like. Still punchy sub bass and mid bass, whilst it keeps the mids, upper mids & treble, relatively balanced. I am certainly hearing much more in my music.I am very impressed with these IEMs. Overall, the closer to neutral sound signature is by far my favourite. I also really love the eartips that they come with. My ears are usually irritated by memory foam, but I was going to try the foam ones for a brief period to see what happens. I have been using the memory foam on these IEMs for a day and I am really enjoying it at the moment with no irritation at all. Time will tell in the next few days what happens. I will just use the sillicone ones if they get irritated because they are still very very comfortable and the sound is still very good. So, Sillicone and Memory Foam eartips are just as good as each other. The noise isolation is perfect for my use case. I am literally just trying to isolate from the sound of my computer fans and these do a great job at isolating sounds such as this. I also went outside with these, and they are quite good at isolating wind sounds, but not so much vehicles going by, but I am not using these for commuting so doesn't bother me really. The sound signature is good for a wide range of music genres. I am generally using these for classical, jazz and other genres. These are by far my favorite sound signature, even with genres that are supposed to focus on bass, they are still great, fun and exciting. The bass is good, but not overpowering. I don't like overpowering bass, so these IEMs are perfect for me.The design is also amazing. They are nice and small, also fitting in my ears very well. I tried some bigger IEMs from other brands, I constantly found myself having to push them back into my ears an awful lot. I haven't had to do that once with these, they seem to fit very well. That makes me love them even more. The cable it comes with are nice for me. I run it down my back and under my shirt. The wire also has a memory plastic that goes over the ear, giving you the chance to position the over ear hook to your most comfortable position.Overall, very good product. I am very happy with the way it is designed, the sound of the product and how comfortable they are.

Premium sound but budget cable
On opening, I was not exactly confident the £118 was a worthwhile investment as the cable looks flimsy and cheap. However, once plugged in to my Plenue 2, I was really impressed with the sound and comfort of these headphones. I listened to a wide range of music and nothing sounded substandard. Strong but not overpowering bass, crisp high end. A nice choice of earbuds included. Only time will tell if the cable is unreliable but I am very happy for the first few days of use. *3 months into use* Cable is going strong, appearances can be deceptive. Boosting to 5 stars as really pleased with these!

Impressive and not only for the price
Just got these today, paid with my own money.Really impressed. For 129£ they are an absolute no brainer. I need more time to understand how they compare to the IE600 but the first impression is that they are trailing them from very close for 1/5 of the price. Less bass but same excellent soundstage and instruments separation when listening Jazz. Non-shouty voices that are not pushed in the background, a truly outstanding accomplishment.Better cable than the IE600: although many will perceive it cheaper, it doesn't tangle as easy and doesn't pull them out of the ears.On the negative side, all ear tips did not work for me, I had to use some Fiio tips to fully appreciate these. As you know, the price for getting the ear seal wrong is losing all the bass....The fit appears very similar so I will try some blind testing with the IE600. For now, my congratulations to Sennheiser.UPDATE 11FEB23: downgrading overall rating to 4 stars. Still a great buy, no doubt, but the Timeless 7hz are a lot better if you can invest 100£ more. Also consider adding the cost of Comply T400 ear tips to get a very good seal and all the bass that these are capable of.

IE 200 is good but not really better than IE 40 pro with foam tip
I received IE 200 today. My first impression is IE200 is overly-rated. It is good but not really better than IE40 PRO with foam tip.I am male and can hear upto 12.5kHz. I prefer more forward mid, sweet vocal/piano tone, medium/wide soundstage for high and low frequency. In general, warmer sound but not too much bass. I prefer quality rather quantity bass and tame highs.I am using Samsung S22+ with Questyle M12 usb-C DAC. I tested using Wavelet app with original frequency response and Diffuse Field (ignore bass) curve, Harman 2019v2, and my own curve. I use the graph from Sennheiser website to generate points and website below to generate Wavelet custom EQ file https://rohsa.gitlab.io/graphtool/?share=Rohsa_D_TargetMy comment below mainly based on after tuned to Harman 2019v2 at 80%. I set to 80% as my unit may not match 100% FR graph presented online. Also, I felt 80% works better with more variety songs.IE 200 with original tip vs IE 40 pro with foam tip:Volume: For IE200 seems slightly quiter than IE 40 Pro. But not an issue at all.Bass: IE200 has slightly tighter and deeper bass with full insertion. With foam tip it has too much bass.Mid: IE200 vocal seems thinner, more laid back and less emotional. IE 40 pro mid is more forward with authority and emotion.High: Upto 12.5kHz which I can hear. I think it is more transparent but sometimes felt a bit thin? Without tune it felt a bit too much energy on high.Cable: IE 200 cable generate more noise. The other point I felt more dynamic or more touching listening to IE 40 pro? Not sure is it just because of my ears. Detail vice I think both are similar. Some song I felt more detail in mid on IE 40 pro. Some songs more in bass in IE 200.My point of view, vocal/piano/guitar are the main sound which bring emotion of the songs. They are more important elements in overall songs as long bass and highs reach acceptable level. The less forward mid, make vocal covered by highs and bass in some tracks. I enjoy listening to IE 40 PRO more than IE 200.
