Little bit of background - Watched wrestling a lot between 1999-2003. Have recently got back into it, though still waiting to be impressed with what seems a lack of top talent, showmanship and storyline ideas (The Vikki Guererro one proving my point). The divas may aswell not be there. Most can't wrestle. Matches last 3 minutes. There's no proper tag teams - Remember the Hardy's, Dudley's, Edge and Christian, Too Cool etc? To add to that point, isn't it amazing to think that Edge and Matt Hardy were middle to lower talent back then. It was better when Smackdown and Raw were one entity. Different rosters exposes the lack of depth.The original Smackdown's on the PS1 and PS2 were fantastic. They may not look it now (graphics wise) but at the time of release they were as good as it got visually. When I compare this Smackdown to games such as FIFA or MLB 11, the graphics are so poor.Another thing with the original Smackdown's was that each game bought something new and exiting. IT seems with the last few Smackdown (V Raw) games that THQ have left out a key feature of a previous game and then re-introduced it the next year to claim they've added something new. When really, it's something they just omitted from the previous game.I guess that's more of a complaint about THQ rather than the game itself so I'll move onto the game in question.There's a massive amount of moves missing from previous games - Yes, some have been added too but WHY not add onto the old moves??? A gripe I've had about the recent Smackdown games is the momentum aspect. How often in wrestling have we seen a wrestler like Stone Cold or the Rock being beaten down and seemingly out, only to Rock Bottom or Stunner there opponent out of nowhere? Why not give the option of storing 1 or 2 Signature or finishing moves? It worked in the old ones.Create a wrestler has made a leap forward in customisation. Create a finisher is a terrific addition to the last few games. AND yet, it's pointless creating a wrestler because there's NO season to use him in! Building up your own wrestlers ability from scratch was the best thing about these games. It'l be back next year. Labelled as "NEW" too.Don't waste your money on this if you have 2010. Don't waste your money on this at all.....

Good quality from seller considering second hand, game play, like doing moves is a bit slow though, will revisit review after a few more games!

WWE shows's kinda suck due to focusing on drama more than actual wrestling. The game's on the other hand are a lot better, as it's mainly wrestling. The RTW's are good fun too.

Can't play it without a HD tv

it's a good game with good graphics, amazing sound effects and much more. However, i was you i would recommend this game because it also gives you the advantage to buy items asscociated with it online with wwe universe and legends like RVD. But, unfortunately its not updated so it deosnt have very superstar and arenas
