Perfect for separating house keys and a car key when needed, and having them together… when needed.

The releasing mechanism is quite softly sprung and the catch is not tight enough for it to be secure if dangling free, however, it works fine as a quick release inside a bag or pocket. Due to this soft release, I can detach it with one hand, to use the attached item, which is useful.

The machining is pretty clean, well defined edges with a nice texture for fast gripping, material wise is light but sturdy, key rings are standard, no fancy material in that matter; but the lock itself it’s very nice and works amazing!
