Carpet Moth Killer Kit (Standard) Pest Expert

Found a antique persain wool rug in a spare room had been infested by carpet moths and bought this kit to treat. Followed the clear instructions that were provided with it on how to apply, including using the smoke bomb. Felt a little overkill however I have heard of friends who have had carpet moths and struggled to get rid after months of trying so wasn't taking any prisoners. Was all pretty straight forward two months on we see no sign of the little blighters. Kit came with a pheromone trap which I've used to monitor the room after treatment, with no further activity now obvious. Smoke bomb left a bit of a wiff for for a week or so I the room but has now completely gone. Definitely recommend and would use again if I ever had the need.

Worked wonders done the job nice and easy to use

Was experiencing some carpet moth infestation in the spare room where i had wool-like carpets. After doing my research online i found this product. I had to vacuum the room multiple times and emptied the vacuum outside after each session to avoid it spreading around the house. I had only needed to use the spray which has been very successful so far (fingers crossed). It has been over a month now since i've done the cleaning session (sprayed the carpets twice - would definitely recommend wearing some hand and footwear when using this to avoid any irritation on the skin).To finish it off I used the Moth trap which was very effective and easy to use. The stick side was filled with some sort of super hormones which attracts the moths to it (be careful to not touch it as moths will definitely be attracted to you - i experienced it first had, was a very weird experience).Even after the two sprays, there were plenty of spray left to be reused (i have a fairly spacious double room). Still keeping an eye of it at the moment but so far so good

Packaging came damage and did not come with mask or gloves

I waited more than a month after use to write this review. We had a moth problem in our bedrooms due to really bad old carpet and floorboards. We are planning on having them replaced but needed something to stop the infestation. On any given day you could see 5 tiny moths flying around in our bedroom and other sprays and deterrent strips didn't do much. I followed the instructions to clear the room but couldn't move the furniture, including a large storage bed so really there were many areas I couldn't spray. Hoovered, put down the powder, hoovered, sprayed and then set off the smoke bomb and left the room shut for a few hours. The room and contents did smell a bit smokey afterwards but it faded and nothing in the cupboards had to be washed. There were no visible moths. Weeks later we might see one but there was plenty of spray left so I spray after we hoover and it has cleared the problem by about 98%. The sticky strip actually works (lots of moths stuck to it) and unlike the other treatments I've tried the spray and strip have no smell.If the problem returns I will repurchase the system. I was not given any discount or promotion to write this review, just really chuffed as the moths were driving us crazy!

We had a mild infestation of moths and this stuff seems to have cleared it, time will tell.Wasn’t packed well, contents were falling out bottom of packaging.Surprised there is minimal reference to safe usage only disposal. No recommendations to use gloves etc and no PPE included.Powder puffer was difficult to use not sure why, could be me.

Straightforward to use. Had a moth problem in one bedroom for a few months. Pulled everything out, gave it a good clean, then applied the powder and spray as per the instructions. No noticeable scent which was good.Once we put everything back we put the sticky traps down but never caught anything. Result!

Used this product the day it arrived. Be careful with the powder as the lid came off as I squeezed too hard! The moths had made their home under a chest on the landing so move your furniture to find the area of infestation. This now day four and there has been no sign of any live moth since! I know there are products that have just the powder a lot cheaper but for peace of mind we went for this and are glad we did.
